VinCheck.info lets visitors decode a VIN, look up a vehicle by license plate and state, or browse vehicles by year, make, and model. Each vehicle report page includes specifications, equipment, recalls, safety ratings, warranties, reviews, and estimated market value / ownership cost.

## Search

- VIN search: submit a 17-character VIN via the search form on the homepage to reach a vehicle report at `/check/report-summary?vin=<VIN>`.
- License plate search: submit a plate number and US state to resolve to a VIN and vehicle report.

## Notes for agents

- Vehicle report pages live under `/report/<make>/<model>/<year>` and `/check/report-summary`.
- `/api/` endpoints are internal and not intended for direct third-party use.
