The Good
The 2021 Arteon offers a blend of style and substance. Its turbocharged engine provides adequate performance. It boasts a comfortable ride and a premium-feeling interior. The Arteon's fastback design appeals emotionally, while its spaciousness, reasonable fuel efficiency, and competitive pricing make it a practical choice for families or those seeking value.
The Bad
Potential weaknesses of the 2021 Arteon include its infotainment system, which some find less intuitive than competitors. Repair costs can be higher than average. Some reviewers note the engine, while adequate, isn't particularly thrilling for the class. Resale value can also be a concern compared to more established luxury brands. Ensure proper maintenance is documented.

How Does the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon Compare to Other Sedan?
Price-wise, the Arteon often offers better value than the German luxury cars, but the Stinger can be similarly priced and offer more performance. Alternatives to consider would be the Acura TLX for its reliability and refined driving experience, or the Kia Stinger for its sporty performance and features. The Nissan Maxima offers similar space and features at a slightly lower price point, but lacks the Arteon's premium feel. If performance is a priority, the Stinger is a better choice. If reliability is key, the TLX is preferable.

Head turnerOwner of a 2021 SEL-R Premium and I love this car. The tech is great. I had mine APR tuned and the drive isn’t noticeably better but still good. Definitely get the wheel/tire protection because these are known to not do so well in pothole season. Great mileage and the back seats are large enough for two adults no problem. I get tons of complements and questions. Great car. The premium level is worth the difference if you can find one.

Perfect car! This is the most underrated car. Well designed inside and out. Plenty of power with all the comfort. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and I have yet to find any quirks of substance. I only wish more interior color choices were available.
