The Good
The 2023 Hyundai Venue excels in value and efficiency. Its practical appeal lies in its low price, excellent fuel economy, and easy maneuverability. Emotionally, it provides a stylish and youthful design with surprising interior comfort for its size. Reliability is generally good, making it a dependable choice. Its compact size makes it perfect for city driving.
The Bad
The 2023 Hyundai Venue's weaknesses include its limited power from its single engine option, which can feel strained during highway driving or with a full load. The rear seat space is also somewhat limited, potentially impacting passenger comfort on longer trips. All-wheel drive is not available, limiting its capabilities in inclement weather.

Analysis
What Problems Does the 2023 Hyundai Venue Have?
Potential long-term reliability concerns mainly revolve around the long-term durability of the IVT, as this is a relatively new type of transmission. It's essential to adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule, including fluid changes, to mitigate potential issues. Some early model year Venues (2020-2021) had recalls related to the rearview camera display and potential fuel leaks, so checking the vehicle's VIN for any outstanding recalls is crucial if buying used.
Overall, the Venue is considered relatively reliable, but it's advisable to check for any Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) related to the transmission or other systems. Regular maintenance and addressing any minor issues promptly can help ensure long-term reliability. Before purchasing, a thorough inspection by a qualified mechanic is always recommended.
How long will the 2023 Hyundai Venue last?
What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, and driver attention warning. Higher trims add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. A rearview camera is standard across all trims. Available optional features are limited, as the Venue keeps things relatively simple and affordable.
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and anti-lock brakes. The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) conduct crash tests. The 2023 Hyundai Venue has received good ratings from IIHS, including a "Good" rating in several crashworthiness categories. NHTSA ratings should be verified on their website. These safety features, combined with the tech amenities, make the Venue a well-rounded package for its class.

2023 Hyundai Venue Prices and Market Value
The Venue depreciates at a moderate rate compared to other subcompact SUVs. Factors affecting resale value include mileage, condition, maintenance history, and trim level. Models with lower mileage, a clean vehicle history report, and the Limited trim tend to hold their value better. Overall, the Venue's affordability helps it retain value reasonably well.

How Does the 2023 Hyundai Venue Compare to Other Vehicle?
In terms of reliability, the Venue is on par with its competitors. Feature-wise, the Venue's standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto give it an edge. However, the Venue's engine is the least powerful of the group. If performance is a priority, the Kia Soul (with its optional engine) might be a better choice. For those prioritizing cargo space and a slightly more refined ride, the Nissan Kicks is a good alternative. Ultimately, the Venue strikes a good balance between price, features, and fuel economy, making it a compelling option in its class. The Nissan Kicks is a similar alternative; the Kia Soul offers a bit more power for a higher price.

Final Verdict: Is the 2023 Hyundai Venue a Good Vehicle?
I am a young, spunky, adventurous 70 year young lady on December 1, 2023
Best little SUV on the marketReally love the mileage. It is small but the mightiest little car 🚗 i could imagine. It really is a two people car because of the size. But you will love it.

Nice SUVAbsolutely a fantastic little SUV. It's roomy enough, rides smooth, quiet and gets 42mpg on the highway and 35 mpg in the city, this is a very dependable car.

LOVE my VenueI absolutely LOVE my Venue. It is incredibly comfortable and a very smooth ride. My parents just got a new BMW and my venue rides just as well. It gets great gas mileage too. I average about 30 mpg and 35 highway. Hyundai has the best warranty out there too, so if you want a small but roomy fun safe car, get a venue!!

2023 Venue SELI love the stying, the ride, the power is certainly adequate , and it is very smooth and quiet. It has all the modern safety features that we wanted with a great rear storage area and it gets great fuel mileage. My only negative marks ( which are minor ) are, the rearward vision is poor due to the size of the rear roof pillars and the small back window. My trim level the SEL came with a digital dashboard which is functional, but I prefer traditional gauges that come with the highest trim level the Limited. And lastly , this is my first car with an infotainment center dash with Apple CarPlay, and while it certainly can be useful, I don't find it especially easy to navigate. It is overly complex and time consuming to try and navigate all the various menus. Which is why 99% of the time I don't mess with it, I just get in it and drive , which is something that the Venue does very well. Overall I think it's a great little car.
