Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) IS Recalling Certain 2024 MD Trucks. THE Steering Wheel Attachment Bolt MAY Loosen and Separate From THE Steering Shaft, Causing THE Steering Wheel TO Detach.
Consequence
A Detached Steering Wheel CAN Cause A Loss OF Steering Control and Increase THE Risk OF A Crash.
Remedy
Owners ARE Advised NOT TO Drive Their Vehicles Until THE Repair HAS Been Performed. Dealers Will Replace THE Steering Wheel Retention Bolt, Free OF Charge.
