The Good
The 2015 Jetta offered a comfortable ride and spacious interior, appealing to practical buyers. Available turbocharged engines and the GLI trim provided enjoyable performance. The Jetta's clean, European design offered a touch of sophistication. The TDI models delivered excellent fuel efficiency, while the overall value proposition was strong compared to some rivals.
The Bad
Some 2015 Jettas, particularly those with the 1.8T engine, experienced oil consumption issues. Reliability, while generally decent, wasn't class-leading. The base S trim could feel spartan. Interior materials, while durable, weren't always the most luxurious. Potential buyers should check for proper maintenance records and signs of excessive oil consumption.

Slowest car I've driven due to the rev limiter it hasSlowest car I've driven due to the rev limiter it has when you have the clutch in. making it impossible to start in second even if your already rolling. I can't find a comfortable position in the car I'm 6 foot and no matter what I do my knees are really close to the steering wheel. Even tho the steering wheel moves. The gear box is ok. Mine goes into 3rd when I try to go into first and some time I miss reverse. But very slow. Kinda sketchy in the city when you need to move but your rev limiter is trying to sync revs so you have to wait a couple seconds before she gets on it. On the free way she moves surprisingly well. Cruise at 75 around 3000 rpm. The steering is a little touchy at high speeds but that can be fixed with mods but this car isn't somthing to be modded. People do. I see this car as thrash and trash first car. I'll be surprised to see alot these on the road in 20 years.

2.slow is very reliableIf it's a 2.0 slow then it's very reliable. Bought the car new, now with 110k no major breakdowns. Make sure it had the proper timely maintenance and it be a good reliable car. Very slow but economic. Transmission fluid change is a must. I was late in it but after the change the car shifted much better.

We call Him KittGreat car, heated seats, defrost side mirrors. Plenty of trunk space, handling is great, hands free Bluetooth, six disc cd changer, The best car I've ever owned.

Fun to drive and fuel efficientThis is a great car to own and drive. With the TDI option, even after the Diesel-Gate fiasco, I was hesitant in purchasing the car. But they, VW, proved it can come back from adversity and provide the consumer with a car they can trust. On a recent cross country trip for NY to Washington and back, we managed to obtain real world driving fuel economy of 50+mpg. This was confirmed with miles travelled and fuel purchased. Never did like the computer mpg estimates. Not bad for a fully laden vehicle with three passengers and all the luggage. In town it is a blast to drive with the 6 speed manual transmission. When it needs to it can get up and go. Not super car performance by any means, but will provide the average driver with a rush of adrenaline and performance when needed. Good enough for having just spent a purchase price < $10k. This thing has over 100,000 mile and still running strong. My other VW, a TDI as well, is a 2006 with a 5 speed manual and it too is running strong with over 230,000 mile on the odometer. Wish they would offer an Atlas with the TDI, I would buy it yesterday! Too bad they only sell them in Russia!

Great CarI was shocked at the fuel efficiency. So much better than listed. Very zippy and handles great. Great car for the money. The trunk has a lot of room, the backseat also folds down which makes for a lot of room to transport stuff.
MariaAA on June 19, 2020
Smartest car deal I’ve brought. For it to be a smaller car, it has great leg room in the back compared to competitors. It has great gas mileage and the seats are comfortable compared to some competitors.

Love this car! This car is exactly what I was looking for! Plenty of leg room in the front and back. Drives smoothly and has all the bells and whistles. Plenty of cargo space in the trunk. The backup camera is very helpful. Love the engine startup button. It's a good looking car that performs well.
