Analysis
What Problems Does the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Have?
While the 2010 GLK350 had a few recalls, they were generally for issues that affected multiple Mercedes-Benz models, such as potential fuel filter flange leaks or issues with the power steering hose. Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the complexity of the vehicle's systems, which can lead to increased maintenance and repair costs. Specifically, issues with the 7G-TRONIC transmission, although generally reliable, can become expensive to fix if problems arise. Regular maintenance and addressing minor issues promptly are crucial to mitigating long-term reliability concerns. Owners should ensure all scheduled maintenance is performed and carefully inspect for leaks, unusual noises, and electrical malfunctions.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Safety features included standard antilock brakes (ABS), stability control, traction control, front and side airbags, and side curtain airbags. Optional driver-assistance features, depending on packages selected, could include blind-spot monitoring and parking sensors.
Crash-test ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) were generally positive. The 2010 GLK-Class earned "Good" ratings in most crashworthiness categories. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) also provided crash test ratings, which varied slightly depending on the specific test. How Does the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle Vehicle?
Price-wise, the GLK was competitive when new, but on the used market, it represents a good value proposition if a buyer is prepared for potential maintenance costs. If reliability is a top priority, the Acura RDX is a better alternative. The BMW X3 offers a sportier driving experience, while the Audi Q5 provides a more refined and modern interior. For buyers prioritizing luxury and distinctive styling, the GLK-Class remains a compelling choice. However, potential buyers should consider a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic familiar with Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Final Verdict: Is the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class a Good Sport Utility Vehicle Vehicle?

Great Car!I bought this car in June 2009 and still have it. I have everything on it except the rear DVD. One concern is the low profile of the tires for the 20" wheels. This makes it more susceptible to pothole damage and occasional alignment adjustments. Still, it's a great car. I also like the running boards because they prevent door dings.

Longest I Kept A CarIt served us very well . Had great features, navigation, sun roof, multi disc CD player. Very comfortable for driver and passengers. Maintenance and gas costs are very high.

It’s a lemon! The vehicle’s transmission went out with 22,000 miles on it. Mercedes repaired it and now with 82,000 miles on it, the vehicle needs a transmission.

Love My G-classI love this car. The look is sleek and very comfortable. Handles nicely. Definitely would purchase a Benz again. Lots of upgrades available to make this model the same as newer models. 5*

I feel very safe in this GLKComfortable and safe, a little hard to get in the drivers seat due to the wide door sill, as well as, the back seat due to the narrow door opening.

Expect to drive it another 10 years.I sold my Audi 6 and now my wife and I share her MB. It meets all our needs. Great on long trips, plus good for hauling mulch or corn for deer, groceries and even going to recycling drop off.

Nice compact SUV...BUT...The exterior styling is somewhat “retro†making it unique amongst luxury brands. However, that adds to its cache. The only complaint, but it’s a big one, is its lack of back seat leg room. Anyone older than 10 will have an uncomfortable riding experience. But is has been very reliable.
