The Good
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer boasts impressive performance with its powerful engine options, providing ample towing capacity. It offers a comfortable and spacious interior appealing to families. While not the most efficient, its design evokes a sense of rugged luxury. Practically, it offers great space and capability, while emotionally, it connects to Jeep's heritage and aspirational lifestyle.

Analysis
What Problems Does the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Have?
Long-term reliability is still being assessed, but early reports suggest that addressing these electronic and software issues will be key. Regular maintenance and addressing any concerns promptly can help mitigate potential long-term problems. As it is a first model year for the revival of the Wagoneer, it is not unusual to see some early-adopter issues that typically get ironed out in subsequent model years. Therefore, checking for updated software and technical service bulletins (TSBs) is advisable.
How long will the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer last?
Long-term durability will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and driven. Potential weaknesses over time could include wear and tear on the suspension components, potential issues with the complex electronic systems, and the need for more frequent maintenance due to the vehicle's size and weight. Rust prevention is also a factor in regions with harsh winters.
What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Optional features include a head-up display, night vision, and a digital rearview mirror. Safety features encompass a comprehensive suite of airbags, electronic stability control, and traction control. The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer had not been fully crash-tested by IIHS and NHTSA at the time of its release, but Jeep incorporated many safety features aiming for high safety ratings. It's advisable to check for the latest crash test ratings from these organizations. The digital instrument cluster provides customizable information, enhancing the driver's experience.

2022 Jeep Wagoneer Prices and Market Value
Depreciation is a factor, but the Wagoneer holds its value relatively well compared to some other full-size SUVs, especially given its brand recognition and desirability. Factors affecting resale value include mileage, condition, service history, and the availability of newer models with updated features. High demand for large SUVs generally supports resale values.

How Does the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Compare to Other Minivan?
Price-wise, it's positioned competitively within its class. The Ford Expedition offers a similar blend of luxury and capability, while the Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban provides more cargo space. The GMC Yukon Denali is another strong contender with a focus on premium features. For someone prioritizing reliability, considering the Toyota Sequoia (though it was redesigned for 2023) might be worthwhile. If maximum cargo space is crucial, the Suburban is a better option. Ultimately, the best alternative depends on individual priorities and preferences.

We have a 2022 Wagoneer Series II rear-wheel drive. We have a 2022 Wagoneer Series II rear-wheel drive. It's got nearly 47,000 miles on it now. We absolutely love it. "Silver Zenith" exterior and the two-tone black/Baltic salt interior. It is SO roomy and comfortable, and quiet! Ride quality is smooth as the suspension absorbs just about anything. The exhaust note has an amazingly deep note to it. We love this Wagoneer.

Beautiful car!Beautiful car! But, would not shift out of park at 2,000 miles. Had to be towed to dealer. The computer would go absolutely nuts! It would just start talking to you all of the sudden. Like "Where would you like to go?" when I am 2 blocks from home. Then, after a bluetooth phone call it just started calling numbers on its own. It became so bad that I drove it to the dealership at about 5,000 miles and got rid of it.

Great Performance, Beauty, and ComfortI think the Wagoneer is a beautiful car. I think of the various colors, the Wagoneer looks better in white. The ride is smooth and comfortable. It has so many practical features such as the GPS system. After travelling routinely to the same place, it remembers. I love that the side mirrors turn downward when in reverse to ensure that the area is clear. Having 3 rows of seating is very helpful and passengers riding in the 3rd row have raved about the leg room. When in reverse, you are alerted that a vehicle is approaching way before the vehicle reaches you. I also liked that I could program my garage so that I don't have to get out of the vehicle. I just press the button and the garage automatically opens/closes. It has a great sound system and I just love the exterior paint. Whenever I give it a wash, it looks like showroom elegance. It also has a screen on the passenger side that you can plug your HDMi cable to watch different things. Sooooooo many features that I love on this beautiful car. Performance has been great. I have a 2022 Wagoneer so I'm not sure if the newer Wagoneer gives you more gas mileage. The amount of gas it uses would be my only set back to this vehicle but I still love my Wagoneer!

Bought new and love it at 25k miles. Many have had issues with electrical on this vehicle. 99% of it is loose grounds under the hood. And fully trickle charge your truck battery. We love this thing. Better than the Tahoe by far. We have the W3 with air ride. I have the hemi 5.7 and get 21 miles per gallon on the highway. You must use the the dealer to align the vehicle. Especially with air ride.

Perfect Family Car-Wagoneer Series IIIOur family purchased a 2022 Wagoneer Series III 4WD. We drove it across country over 2600 miles through rainfall and snow to visit family in the mountains. The 360 camera view is crisp and bright. High/low beam lights have a wide span while driving, it's easier to see at night. The brakes are sensitive, but effective. It has a 5.7L V8 engine and does well on mileage. Acceleration is great. Climate controls, media player and hands free capabilities worked great, they can sometimes be slow to make changes. The drive was comfortable, the vehicle handled very well. We even had lots of storage space for belongings. It comes with full 2nd and 3rd row seating, lots of lower car seat anchors for kids. All 5 of our kids were happy. My only complaint is the classic wood grain could only be found in the grand wagoneer.
