The Good
The 2013 Jaguar XF offers strong performance with available supercharged engines, delivering thrilling acceleration. Its luxurious interior provides exceptional comfort and style appealing to emotional buyers. From a practical standpoint, the XF offers a refined driving experience, decent fuel economy (depending on the engine), and a distinctive design that stands out from more common luxury sedans.
The Bad

What Problems Does the 2013 Jaguar XF Have?
Recalls for the 2013 XF might include issues related to fuel leaks or other safety-related problems. It's crucial to check the NHTSA website for any applicable recalls for the specific VIN.
Long-term reliability can be a concern, as Jaguars are generally not known for top-tier reliability compared to some Japanese and German competitors. Proper maintenance and addressing issues promptly are critical to prolonging the vehicle's lifespan. Model years around 2013, as part of the first-generation XF, might exhibit some of the teething problems associated with a relatively new design. Inspecting service records and obtaining a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic is highly recommended.

How Does the 2013 Jaguar XF Compare to Other Sedan?
Pricewise, a used XF might be more affordable than a comparable German sedan, but maintenance costs can offset this advantage.
Alternatives to consider include the Lexus GS for superior reliability, the BMW 5 Series for a more engaging driving experience, or the Mercedes-Benz E-Class for a balance of luxury and technology. The Audi A6 offers similar levels of refinement and technology. If reliability is a top priority, the Lexus GS is a better choice. If driving dynamics are paramount, the BMW 5 Series may be preferable.

First time Jaguar owner. This vehicle picked ME out as I walked by it at the dealership. It said, “I am going home with this guyâ€Â. I had no choice. Now I could not be more pleased with it. The elegance and beauty of a Jaguar is now something I enjoy every time I get in that seat. The experience of traveling in a vehicle that this provides is only something I had dreamed about up until now. Smooth, comfortable, powerful, sensitive and safe is how I feel in this amazing automobile. I just may have to try one of their other models in the near future. Going to enjoy this one for a while right now. Now a definite Jaguar fan here.

80k miles and going strongI purchased my cpo 13 xf 2.0 when it had 3k miles on it for 40k$ in 2013. Since it has best bumper to bumper protection at no cost for 6yrs/100k miles. Pros: always feel safe and fun to drive. Its a jaguar Cons: turbo went out at 40k miles and jag replaced it for free of cost no deducts. Waterpump around 60k replaced by jag free of cost. Apart from these two just the oil changes now and then. Usual oil changes cost 250$ at delearship and some services cost around 700 once a year. The brake rotors and pads job at the dealer gave me qoute of close to 2400$ . I got the different parts from outside and replaced for around 700$ . So in 80k miles i had to replace brakes twice and regular oil changes. I recommend having warranty on this vehicle.

flawless and stunning70,000km zero issues original everything but gas oil and washer fluid.... My second Jaguar since tata motors took over. My first was a 2009 XKR heavily modded 4.2 with 2.5? upper pulley ported supercharger, ECM re-flash 200 cel cats, resonator delete with added x pipe and stick rear mufflers with open valve (pull fuse 19) 150,000km with zero issues and many full bore track days....even the first brake job didn?t occur until 120,000.... i live in the country so no traffic or lights to contend with. XF is also AWD so i run it4 seasons and could not love it more...sport portfolio options really add an edge and a level of comfort and the optional alcatraz black headliner is to die for cool.Car will be re-flashed and slower SC pulley for 460 HP....now we have a cat with growl that is no cookie cutter.....you need a level of substance and subtle design to fully appreciate this fine automobile......the days of un-reliability in Jaguar is long long gone. That said it makes for the ultimate used car bargain. fast, sexy and reliable......,if only my ex-wife had those qualities....;)
