The Good
The 2014 Versa offers excellent fuel efficiency and a comfortable ride, appealing to practical buyers. Its spacious interior, especially the rear legroom, is a significant advantage. While not a performance vehicle, its simplicity can translate to reliability. The low price point makes it an attractive, budget-friendly option for many.
The Bad
The 2014 Nissan Versa's weaknesses include sluggish acceleration, especially with the CVT transmission. The interior materials feel cheap, and the handling isn't particularly engaging. Potential buyers should watch out for CVT transmission issues, which have been reported. The base model lacks essential features.

Now at 77000 Kliks & 10 yrs old a great bargain car!Now at 77000 Kliks & 10 yrs old a great bargain car! Fuel economy still around 7L/100Klm. No rust (except wheel rims) good seats rather coldish in winter tho... Only money spent on front end stabilizer bar & steering bits. Cant complain about tranny -its a stupid "puredrive" but we lucked into getting the OVERDRIVE option. That was our salvation!

Good CarThis is a great car! We did have to put some money into it, but it runs good. Most cars require some work these days once you hit over 100k miles.

Transmission no goThis could have been a no frills economic car. But the transmission's on these are known to fail. And with a basic 60,000 powertrain warranty, they are built to barely get to that. Then they fail, and fail catastrophically

Over 100,000 miles and still going! This is a very basic car with basic power but it has never failed me. I've had issues with the door lock and trunk lock- I don't even lock my door because I'm afraid the key won't open it! At some point l will have to deal with the trunk lock. The car is so basic I'm not worried about it being stolen. The interior drivers side window handle needs to be replaced but that is the only other issue. This is a good no-frills car!

First Car I Owned, A Great One!This was my first car and it was perfect for driving home from my college. Amazing gas mileage for longer trips, too. Accident free and no mechanical issues.

Drives fineThe car drives efficiently. The backseat is spacious. Perfect for a first car at an even better price. Radio is updated, upgraded the bluetooth system and reverse camera.
