The Good
The 2004 Lancer offers a sporty design that appeals to emotional buyers. Practical advantages include good fuel efficiency and an affordable price point, making it a strong value proposition. The Ralliart trim delivers enhanced performance for those seeking a more engaging driving experience. While not luxurious, it offers adequate comfort for daily commutes.
The Bad
Common weaknesses of the 2004 Lancer include potential rust issues, particularly in areas with road salt. The base engine can feel underpowered, and the interior materials are generally low-grade. Not happy with it.I've had my 2004 Lancer for about a year. I bought it used and have had problem after problem. I've replaced the motor, radiator, front axle on driver's side, wheel bearings on both sides in the front, struts in the back. I loved the car when I first got it, but it's been a very big expense for me.

It was nice to drive.Modern, clean, felt good behind the wheel. Pro interior leather. Feels like is should've had gloves on and taken it to the track. Interested in a newer model to see improvements to the design. Big fan and Mitsubishi gets a thumbs up.

04 Ralliart, 05 Es, 07 Esi currently own three of these vehicles the 2007 has 143000 hit a guard rail and totaled, safest car i have ever seen in a crash its parked for parts now. my 2005 has 218000 i have used for the past year to drive 120 miles round trip 5 days a week most reliable and fuel efficient car i have used, just gave it to my wife as i bought the 2004 Ralliart(232000). being so impressed with these machines i found myself purchasing a top of the line model Ralliart. this car tops the previous two and has everything i could ever want in a car handles like a race car. and kills it in the power department. I've always loved Mitsubishi's but this car has put it over the top if you get the opportunity to own one or drive one... DO IT.

OZ RallyI purchased the OZ rally edition off this site from a used car dealership and honestly even after the doing a test drive and now owning the vehicle for a week I am completely impressed. The vehicle had more get up and go than I originally thought from the test drive and the handling is a dream. The mpg was exactly what I expected, and as a daily driver I am completely satisfied. Interior has the sporty feel to it as it should being the oz rally edition of the model, one thing I did not like and changed right off the back was the radio head because the gauges in the dash we're bright white with deep red lighting but the radio was an off teal color and didn't match up. Cosmetic yes but looks much better now with matching colors. The second thing i changed was the rear braking system being drum brakes and i prefer disc brakes all around for a sporty type car. otherwise this vehicle is very nice for daily driving and or a more sporty environment, a good mix between the two worlds.

great simple carI recently bought this car . It is a simple basic 4 door auto. Exactly what I wanted for a car to drive to work, It has no bells or whistles. Electric windows and door locks are about it. But it has a roomy interior with basic interior instrument panel.I like the exterior shape of the car. No blind spots for a short gal like me. Handles well on the highway . Good exceleration. If your looking for something simple to get you from point A to point B this may be the car to give a try.
