The Good
The 2015 Cruze offers a comfortable and quiet ride, making it suitable for daily commutes. Its fuel efficiency is a major plus, appealing to practical buyers. The stylish design and available technology features can attract those seeking a modern, affordable car. While not a performance car, it provides adequate power for most driving situations. It represents a good value for the money.
The Bad
Some common issues with the 2015 Cruze include potential problems with the turbocharger, coolant leaks, and the PCV valve. Reliability can be inconsistent, so a thorough inspection before purchasing is crucial. The interior materials, while functional, aren't the highest quality. The rear seats can feel cramped for taller passengers.

What Problems Does the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze Have?
Recalls have been issued for the 2015 Cruze, including issues related to the ignition switch and potential fuel leaks. It's crucial to check the vehicle's VIN against recall databases to ensure all necessary repairs have been performed. Long-term reliability can be a concern, as the Cruze is not generally considered one of the most reliable cars in its class. Issues with the electrical system and transmission have also been reported, though less frequently than the turbo and coolant problems.
While the 2015 model year has its share of issues, some problems have been reported across multiple Cruze model years (2011-2016), suggesting they may be inherent to the design. Regular maintenance and careful monitoring of potential warning signs are essential for mitigating these risks. Consulting owner forums and obtaining a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic are highly recommended.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Driver-assistance features are relatively limited. Higher trims like the LTZ offer rear parking sensors. A rearview camera was not standard, but available as an option. Standard safety features include antilock brakes, traction control, stability control, and a full complement of airbags.
Optional features included a sunroof, upgraded audio systems (like a Pioneer system), and navigation. OnStar was also available, providing services like automatic crash response, roadside assistance, and remote vehicle access via a mobile app.
Crash-test ratings from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) are generally positive. The 2015 Cruze received a 5-star overall safety rating. The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) gave the 2015 Cruze a "Good" rating in most crash tests, with varying ratings for headlight performance depending on the specific headlights equipped.

2015 Chevrolet Cruze Prices and Market Value
The Cruze has experienced significant depreciation due to its average reliability ratings and the availability of newer, more technologically advanced models. Factors affecting resale value include the vehicle's maintenance history, any accident history, and the specific trim level. Lower mileage and a clean title command higher prices. Desirable features, like leather seats and MyLink, can also slightly improve resale value, but overall, depreciation is a significant factor.

How Does the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze Compare to Other Sedan?
Feature-wise, the Cruze is comparable to its rivals, especially with the MyLink infotainment system on higher trims. However, some competitors offer more advanced safety features, even in 2015.
Reliability is where the Cruze lags behind. The Civic and Corolla have consistently higher reliability ratings. The Mazda3 is also generally considered more reliable.
Price-wise, the Cruze is often competitively priced, both new and used. If reliability is a top priority, the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla are better alternatives. If a more engaging driving experience is desired, the Mazda3 is a strong contender. The Ford Focus offers a similar blend of features and value, but also has its own set of potential reliability concerns. For a budget-conscious buyer willing to accept some risk in reliability, the Cruze can be a reasonable choice, especially if a thorough pre-purchase inspection is performed.

Final Verdict: Is the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze a Good Sedan?
Whether it's worth buying depends on the price and condition. A well-maintained used Cruze, particularly an LT or LTZ trim with desirable features, can be a good value. A thorough pre-purchase inspection is crucial to identify potential problems. Given its history, newer, more reliable alternatives should be considered if the budget allows. A used Cruze is only recommended under the condition that a mechanic has fully inspected the vehicle and there is clear documentation of consistent maintenance.

Should have a recall on head gasket for 2915I loved my Cruze until it overjeated and then never started again. The steering would lock up while I was driving almost killing me a few times and it would have issues with the battery, it actually caught on fire once and the car is cheaply made. It's. Ot built to last. It's a good car for something cheap

Please do not buy this vehicleI don’t even know where to start. So far I’ve owned this car for 2 years and it has been to the shop once every two months. I have replaced one of every sensor that the car has, O2, temp gauge, airbag, you name it. Also had to replace head gaskets twice and the second time the mechanic just recommend a new engine. Old engine only had 60k. Also had the water pump and catalytic converter replaced. So I got the new engine with 40k on it and as soon as I left the shop my engine began running lean in bank 1. Got the fuel injectors replaced. Left the shop and engine light turned on again. Have a coolant leak and I have yet again another catalytic converter code. Owning this car has been absolutely miserable and it was the worst financial decision I ever code have made for myself. Unfortunately I am stuck with this car for now but the day I get it paid off I will be celebrating and getting absolutely hammered at the bar.

TerribleThis car has been nothing but trouble. Anyone who bought this car new or used should get a pay out from Chevy. Multiple problems since the start, forced to fix because of owing money on the car. Leaves you no choice but to put thousands into it just to have it on the road rather than paying on two cars! Coolant issues, converter, oil pan, turbo, leaks, rust. You name it this car has had it. A complete nightmare I regret ever getting it. Should have gotten a Honda!

Love the look. But to many coolant issuesTo many visits for coolant repairs. It has cost me thousands in repairs and rental cars. I love the look of the car inside and out.

Enjoyable, relaxing ride. Took me from A-B withouI had one and loved it. Got great gas mileage. Drove it to California and back. Great car, took me to and from work. Always listened to my CD player. Got as much as 31 miles to the gallon on the highway.

2015 Chevy CruzeI got a standard 2015 Chevrolet Cruze and has been nothing but problems since I got it. Constant valve cover and coolant leaks. Everyone I know with this vehicle has had multiple issues. A mechanic at a shop I was working with said it himself to drive it until it is completely finished and NOT to repair it. After a fresh valve cover gasket it only took a week to begin leaking again and the hot oil caused my belt to snap. It will cost me over 4,500 dollars to completely fix this vehicle. Was a huge waste of time of money. Do not invest in a chevy cruze.

Recall didn’t helpI got a 2015 Chevy Cruze sitting behind my garage cause of a recalled part a short time ago, maybe a year in a half ago I began having issues with my vehicle, I then received a letter about the cruzes having a recall on the Pcv valve and that’s exactly what was wrong with my car so I called the number on the letter and they tell me my Vin number doesn’t match. Like what do I do from here fix it myself .. they said yes. .. what I find odd is nothing else is wrong with my car 4 years later I’m sitting with a car I paid 12,000 for and can’t drive it cause due to the pcv valve going out I got fluid in my vehicle and I only owed $1100 left to my banking and head gasket blew to point of unable to drive. Then this hurt my credit score a lot!!!! It’s just been a domino effect with
