These recalls highlight the importance of checking the vehicle's VIN for any outstanding recall work before purchase. Over the long term, owners might face issues related to general wear and tear, like suspension components and brake systems, but the engine and transmission issues were particularly concerning for the 2011 model year.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Entertainment options varied by trim level, with the LTZ offering premium features like a premium sound system and an available navigation system. Driver-assistance features were relatively limited compared to modern standards, but the Cruze did include standard features like antilock brakes, stability control, and traction control. Optional features included rear parking sensors on some trims.
In terms of safety, the 2011 Cruze came standard with multiple airbags, including front, side, and curtain airbags. It also featured a reinforced safety cage to protect occupants in the event of a crash. How Does the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Compare to Other Sedan?
In terms of price, the Cruze was often positioned as a value-oriented choice, typically slightly lower than the Civic or Corolla. However, the reliability concerns might make the Civic or Corolla better long-term investments, despite the higher initial cost. The Mazda3 provided a more engaging driving experience. If reliability is a top priority, the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla are better alternatives. If you're seeking a similar balance of features and price, the Ford Focus (if well-maintained) could be considered, but carefully check its reliability history as well.

Buyer bewareI bought this car with 64000 miles on it. I have become a non certified mechanic on the chevy cruze. I work on this car approximately once a month now. The bulk of the work is under the hood. I promise you will encounter major issues under the hood. Mainly the valve cover and intake manifold. Leaks of coolant and oil are common. I would not recommend buying one of these vehicles.

Mixed feelings!Just before I was to make my 2nd payment, I already need a new motor. How? However. If I read correctly, it appears there is a recall that my car needed. On the bright side, after all these recalls are complete, I will have a brand new car so...

BUYING A CHEVY CRUZE WAS A MISTAKE!This has got to be the worst car ever made. I bought it without knowing how crappy this car is. It ran ok the first month and then the neverending nightmare began. 1. Heater / Air conditioning issues 2. Heater hose coolant leak 3. Radiator leak 4. TPMS 5. Overheat - burning smell when heat is turned on medium or higher mode 6. Check engine light comes on and off whenever 7. Bad insulation car fogs and frosts up when its cold out 8. Engine oil leaks and splatters EVERYWHERE 9. Head gasket and gasket seal leak 10. Horrible ventilation 11. When it is cold out it is impossible to listen to or enjoy music because its like listening to music through blown speakers 12. A CHEAPLY MADE VEHICLE USING THE CHEAPEST MATERIALS AND IS VERY OVERPRICED. YOU WILL END UP SPENDING A FORTUNE ON REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE. This car is NOT worth the headaches. Mattel makes better quality Power Wheels than this!

I hate that carThis car has truly put me in a money bind I have had my car for about 7-9 days over a month and after I purchased my car I went and got a tune-up make sure all of my stuff was correct because I knew I was going on a little vacation from South Carolina to the state of New Jersey and I was going to be on the road for a while so I made sure everything was up you know correct well on my ride to New Jersey all of a sudden the check engine light comes on once the check engine light comes on I go I go to the gas station get gas and to my surprise my car wouldn't start I didn't know I don't allow my car to go under a half a tank but every time I get gas my car cuts off it don't crank I have to wait for about 10-15 minutes before it starts then once I got to New Jersey I decided I was going to park my car I was going to check my oil and everything make sure everything was still correct make sure I didn't need anything so I went I got all my belongings out of the car because I wasn't coming back out to that day or night I was going to rest well the next day around 11:00 00 I decide I wanted to get in my car and go to the store well within 5 minutes or less of pulling out of the yard it started overheating and went from overheating to just cutting off and it still has not cut back on and beans though I had to get back home I had to leave my car in the state of New Jersey and catch a bus back home the sad part is that I'm making payments on the car well I was supposed to make my first payment on the car and I have no car to drive
