Subaru Recall Lookup

Subaru has recalled 2020 Legacy and Outback models for back-up camera glitch. An over-the-air software update may have timed out without completing the installation, corrupting the data. The rear-view camera display may shut down, not allowing the drivers to see what’s behind them on the screen, increasing the risk of a crash. The affected component is the Cockpit Control Module (CCM) with part numbers 86201AN65A and 86271AN60A.

Subaru will notify owners and dealers will reprogram the software of the vehicles affected by the recall. If necessary, the dealer will replace the CCM with a new one, free of charge.

Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614 for more information. Subaru’s reference number for this recall is WRH-20.

To see if this recall affects your Subaru vehicle, check its recall status by looking up your VIN.
