Overall a good car, had the manual trans convertible. Very reliable despite what people say regarding Chrysler’s 2.7L, just use synthetic oil. Car had no real issues within 80,000 miles, clutch was starting to go at 130,000. Interior is cheap and heavy in plastic but relatively comfortable. Convertible top was well insulated and durable, car held comfortable temp well. As a whole I recommend this car.

Bought the car in 2006 to teach my daughter to drive. Own it for past 12 years...shipped it down to Florida 5 years ago to my winter home in Florida and garaged it there permanently. Has 64,000 miles...other than routine oil changes every 3000 miles and recent front strut and tires has been totally reliable and fun to drive. Was going to sell it but can’ part with it

My wife bought this as her luxury car. It was fine at first. It fit her well since she's a smaller person, but for me at just under 6 feet and 200 pounds it's tight. The Impala, which I preferred, had pedals which were to high for her; her feet were literally off the floor boards. The styling is fine but I prefer functionality and reliability in a vehicle. This car has had slight ticks since it was bought. Little things that took "getting use to" as she would say. Increasingly, after about 40,000 miles, the car seems to be going downhill quick. This car has primarily done highway and city driving, with an average of less than 10,000 miles per year. The tires lasted barely 50,000 miles, works been done on the suspension and brakes. Electrical problems are present, such as when you brake and turn 90 degrees to the right a bell/alarm goes off. Dealership techs have been unable to find that problem. The 5 CD changer died within 5 years, even with little use. Twice there have been repairs for transmission components (leaks and transmission cylinder/cylinoid). Placement of battery is in front of left tire, but requires taking wheel-well guard off, so repair is qualified as "hard install" by shops. Even being hand and a "do it yourselfer" I couldn't get at that battery in an hour or trying. Sunroof opening cable broke within first 6 months, and again at age 3. Braking system has always had a pumping sensation when stopping, no matter what speed or quickness you slow down. Windshield wipers are maddening, no matter what brand I've tried. When rainfall is misty, light, or moderate even the lowest setting gets a constant squeek on every upturn. The only answer for this is to turn wipers off and on by hand when needed. All of this in a car that's been driven gently compared to our other vehicle which has more miles, has been used for hauling, long trips, and boat trailering. I wouldn't sell this car to a family member, or let my kids drive it when they grow up. We've now switched cars with gas prices increasing, and I'll drive it until it dies since it's paid off. That being said, I can't stand this car. It's only redeming quality right now is I'm not longer paying on it. I'll tolerate it simply because replacing it is a more expensive option. Daily I'm reminded of how poorly this car rides and performs.

Transmission slips

The transmission slips and seems that most all Sebring's have this defect. Should definitely be recalled. Super bad engine design the water pump is a nightmare to change out. The Seebring is the worst car to own

Love my 2002 seabring limited convertible!

Bought the car in 2006 to teach my daughter to drive. Own it for past 12 years...shipped it down to Florida 5 years ago to my winter home in Florida and garaged it there permanently. Air pressure in tires loss frequently

Love the heated seats and leg room beautuful design . If the tires didnt lose air pressure it would be 100% it drives as though its on air

I hated this car

I didn?t like this car. It gave me too many problems and I put too much money into it for it to still be broken. And they put the car together horribly so it?s hard to get to certain areas in the engine. Don?t get it, period.

Great LIttle Convertible

I bought this car as a used 4 year old car with only 30,000 or so miles. My ex wife and I put another 70,000 on it over the next 11 years with very few problems. Love top down motoring at night with the stereo blasting.

Every day in this car great , take you everywhere, seat are comfortable, all my friends love it, thus car help me transport my family every the want to go, an we all love it , like I said if is one of the best cars out here.

2003 Sebring, big disappointment

This was a nice vehicle when we first got it as an inheritance. Within a year the driver's door electric window did not work. Replaced the regulator and it still did not work. Then the rear window failed to operate. The heater/air conditioner fan failed to operate in all three speeds. That was an easy fix. Then the biggest issue was the engine. My wife was driving this on Mother's day when an engine gasket failed. All of these issues occurred in a nine-month period. The car has been sitting since it was towed. The mileage is just over 74,000. It has been expensive and not everything has been properly fixed. Not a fan of Chryslers!
