Got this car with under 20k miles, it was a 14’CC EXEC. 4motion. Had all the bells and whistles. Best part about this year was that it came with a driver seat messaged your back! Lost this car due to a driver that was texting.

I fell in love at first sight of this car with it's swooping coupe line and overall styling. Unfortunately, I can't say the same with the interior of the car. The technology in this car is lacking and very out dated compared to other 2014 models out there. Also, the material used for the interior is sub-par and I am living with constant rattling cabin noise which the dealer couldn't not fix. These are the only flaws i've found after two years of owning this vehicle. Safe to say, I will not be purchasing any VW vehicles in the future.

Deficient power train

I own a 2012 VW Cc, the power trains are mechanically deficient. The carbon buildup in the engines is extreme. It has a poorly designed engine and transmission. I have a 125,000 miles on mine and it will be salvage unless I decide to invest in a new transmission.

Best midsized sedan out there

Let's face it the CC is likely the best looking midsize sedan on the market. It's got the famous 2.0T to back it up. Sure it gives up a bit of headroom but it is loaded...stock. Everything from power and heated front seats to adaptive lighting. The suspension could have been better tuned as it's a bit harsh and floaty at the same time but in everyday driving it's very competent. This thing is a looker!

Most dependable car I’ve owned

Got this car with under 20k miles, it was a 14’CC EXEC. 4motion. Had all the bells and whistles. Best part about this year was that it came with a driver seat messaged your back! Lost this car due to a driver that was texting.

Love my VW CC

Not a happy marriage on February 16, 2020

Wonder why they discontinued making them ?

This car has been nothing but problems since I've owned it. I bought it with 32k miles and for the first few months it was a great car......then all xxxx broke lose!! 4 transmissions, back up camera went out, carbon build up in engine, pcv valve went out , front wheel bearing out, spare tire compartment fills up with water. 2.5 years and I just purchased my 3rd set of tires. Volkswagon covered the transmissions but other than that, it is a money sucking xxxxx !!!

fun to drive-plenty of power, great MPG.

Meets all a person would want in a Mid-size sedan-power, performance, handling, and ride. Great MPG and loaded with options. For the money best car you can buy.

On of my all time favorite vehicles

I absolutely loved both of my CCs, one Sport and one R-Line. It got great mileage, they were very comfortable. They handle great. I travel a lot and drive a lot a vehicles. I liked the CC better than the BMW and Volvo. I never had a mechanical problem with either. I was hoping to buy the Arteon which seemed to be a refinement of the CC. I would have bought the Arteon but went with a Cadillac ATS because it was the only recent sports sedan with a manual - I HATE automatics. Stubborn VW America will not accommodate the market like they do in Germany where I saw these with a manual. Thanks to some stupid suit in corporate making a single-minded decision VW lost a loyal customer.
