Emotionally, it's fun to drive, has a youthful design, and its nimble handling makes city driving a breeze, all at an affordable price point, enhancing its overall value.

What Problems Does the 2018 Honda Fit Have?
Regarding recalls, it's important to check the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) website for the latest information. Recalls can vary depending on the specific vehicle and its manufacturing date.
Long-term reliability is generally good, consistent with Honda's reputation. However, some owners have reported issues with the continuously variable transmission (CVT) over time, particularly with shuddering or hesitation. Keeping up with regular maintenance, especially transmission fluid changes, is crucial. The 2015 Honda Fit had significant transmission problems. It's important to check the vehicle history for any major repairs or accidents before purchasing a used 2018 model. Rust can be a concern in regions with harsh winters and road salt, so inspect the undercarriage for corrosion.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Driver-assistance features include Honda LaneWatch (EX and EX-L), which displays a live video of the passenger-side roadway on the infotainment screen when the right turn signal is activated. Honda Sensing suite (adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking) was not standard for 2018 but might be available on some models as an option.
Safety features include standard airbags, anti-lock brakes, and stability control. Crash-test ratings from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) are generally good. The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) also provides crash test ratings, and the 2018 Fit typically performs well in their tests. It is advised to review the results from both agencies. Higher trims offered optional navigation and premium audio systems.

How Does the 2018 Honda Fit Compare to Other Hatchback?
In terms of reliability, the Fit is generally on par with the Yaris and Rio, known for their dependability. The Versa and Sonic, while cheaper, don't quite match the Fit's reputation for long-term reliability. Feature-wise, the Fit offers a good range, especially in higher trims with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Price-wise, the Fit is competitive but might be slightly more expensive than the base models of some rivals. Alternatives to consider include the Toyota Yaris for similar reliability and fuel efficiency, or the Kia Rio for a more stylish design and competitive price. The Hyundai Accent is another good alternative. If cargo space isn't a major concern, these options offer a similar experience.

I'm currently at the Honda dealer waiting for theI'm currently at the Honda dealer waiting for the maintenance service to be completed. I've owned the 2018 Honda Fit for about five years and overall, I am very satisfied with it. It's very easy to drive around in the city but a little scary to drive on the highway. I would definitely recommend this car if you mainly drive in the city, but maybe not for those who have to drive long distances every day. Maintenance costs are very affordable, and I haven't experienced any mechanical breakdowns so far. The insurance cost is low. The interior is large enough for my family of four, which is very convenient. It's sad that Honda no longer makes this car.

It's been discontinued by Honda - WHY?I love my 2018 new for me Fit. It's has 4 doors and a hatchback. The middle seats flip over to make a larger cargo area. The climate controls work very well. It has a "Eco" button, which saves gas, when you want. It has two kinds of plug in stations. It hooks up with Bluetooth and I can take phone calls.

2018 Honda Fit SportJust bought it, so it's good so far. Very low front end and not the greatest in the snow. But, other than that I really like it. It was fun to order the extra accessories to personalize to my liking.

Always wanted a Fit since they first came out!Exceeding all my expectations, fun to drive, still learning all the bells & whistles & having the time of my life!!! This white orchids pearl color is simply beautiful, like someone mixed in fairy dust with the white making the color look truly effervescent. I'm over the moon with my purchase.

Perfect CafMy 2018, six speed, sport edition Honda fit, is small on the outside but roomy on the inside. It has pick up, even though it has a small, fuel efficient engine. Easy to parallel park in the city! Amazing infotainment system!
Quick on the turns and easy to park on October 14, 2020
Handles very well for a cheap carThis vehicle is very responsive. Multiple cameras make parking a breeze. Adequate pick up. Improved noise levels over 2017. Seats are like rocks but what can you expect from a car that costs less than 20k

Great dealership; great valueBest value - top Consumer Reports pick - there's a reason why - 6th Honda Fit I have owned. Road noise is a bit more than I would like but gas mileage, handling, interior space are all great.

From subways to car ownerAfter using the subway in NYC for 25 years, I moved back to Arizona, where a car is necessary. Doing much research, I purchased the 2018 Honda Fit. The drivers seat could use more room, as I'm six feet tall. The passengers area in back is very comfortable, even for tall passengers. The gas mileage is great. The cargo capabilities are excellent with the back area configurations, especially for transporting art. The safty features are worthy enough to have a lower rates on insurance than my used Nissan Altima. Car has plenty of power for the road. I am happy with my 'Clementine' (orange) car.

I've owned one before excellent carThis car is versatile in every sense of the word Lots of luggage room Great gas mileage My 2010 I put 173k on it before I was hit and they totaled it It had the original clutch Never had any issues with that 2010 model Towed my race bike with the car The 2018 is a much improved model over the 2010 model which I owned That's why I bought another one Got 7 years on the battery and went over 50k on a set of tires They even increased the A/C which was a problem on the earlier cars
