The Good
The 2021 GMC Acadia provides a comfortable ride and a stylish design that appeals to emotional buyers. Practically, it offers decent fuel efficiency with certain engine options. While not class-leading in performance, it provides adequate power for daily driving. Available safety features and a respectable predicted reliability score also contribute to its overall appeal.
The Bad
Potential weaknesses of the 2021 GMC Acadia include a smaller third-row seat compared to some competitors, making it less comfortable for adults. Some reviewers have noted that the base engine can feel underpowered, especially when fully loaded. The infotainment system, while generally user-friendly, can occasionally be slow to respond. Be mindful of potential transmission issues that have been reported in earlier model years.

Just turned over 18,000 miles, and already the frontJust turned over 18,000 miles, and already the front camera failed, and I had to pay $1.080 since it was out of warranty. I know that stuff happens, but not expecting such a huge outlay with so few miles. I have lost confidence in this vehicle, and the honeymoon is over.

Question use of &150 diagnostic chargeCar is three years old and I have to replace the thermostat after service visit two days in a row. Fan runs for a period of time when car is shut off. Also receiving messages ie driver assist is off when it is actually on

Stylish and comfortable.Just purchased this vehicle a little over a month ago. Love the ride, the comfort of the seats, and, the body style. My only complaint is that it drifts to the right and the steering wheel is several degrees to the left after two trips to the dealer where we purchased it. I will probably have to pay to take it to a known, excellent alignment shop.

Thanks GMC. I'll be going back to Ford. Sorry. NotI am soooo disappointed with my Acadia. I bought it for the room and comfort for my German Shepherd who has been to 3 states with me. I purchased an extended warranty on a brand new vehicle, and At $45k miles I was covered for parts and labor when they had to replace my independent suspension. At 58k miles I started having exhaust muffler issues with a $2300 price tag. GMC and my extended warranty will not cover the replacement. The warranty is useless when I needed them the most. My sole reason for purchasing it, was to ensure security and safety during my travels as a single female with her dog. Now I can't trust my $35000 Acadia and will sit in the driveway. I don't have the ability to come up with that!!! Thanks GMC. I took a different direction by buying your product. So, I'll be going back to Ford. I have 211k miles on my 99 F250 4x4 super duty crew cab V10 and have only had to keep up the maintenance. Sorry. Not sorry.

Disappointed OwnerMy vehicle has been in the shop multiple times. Brakes have been replaced. Service Brake Assist constantly popping up. Finally went away after parts replaced. The vehicle is still jerking back when driving after a cold crank. It also makes a clicking noise when traveling at low speeds. The noise is very noticeable. So no, I am not happy with my 2021 Acadia and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Back to the service department I go.

Hard to say yes or no on the 2021 GMC Acadia. We have had our Acadia for a year now and there are good and not so good things. This is our 5th GMC suv as went went from the Terrain when it got smaller to the Acadia. We love the 3rd row option that we can use when we have 7 people or then put down for more storage space. The drivers visibilty to see on the left when turning has been made a little better with the newer design. What hasn't changed is the seat design as far as raising it high enough. Wish the designers would realize that it's just not men who drive this car. I don't want to have to use a pillow becuse the seat doesn't go high enough. Lastly, there is a grinding noise from day one which sounds as though we are driving with the break on. The dealer told us it is just because the car is new and breaking in. A year later and the noise is still there. After several years of GMC suv's I am on the fence about getting another.

Definitely consider the GMC AcadiaVery satisfied with my Acadia. There are a lot of electronic features that took time to get used to, like transmission by button, but now it is second nature. I can park this SUV in the garage and still transport 6 adult people very comfortably.

Exactly what I neededVery happy with this vehicle. It looks awesome and has the 3rd row seating I was looking for! The color is beautiful. I do wish the drivers seat was a little more comfortable but it's m not a luxury vehicle so that's expected.
