The Good
The 2023 GMC Acadia offers a comfortable ride and a stylish design, appealing to emotional buyers. Practically, it provides a spacious interior suitable for families and cargo. The available V6 engine offers adequate performance. While not class-leading in fuel efficiency, it presents decent value considering its features and upscale image. Reliability is generally good but not exceptional.
The Bad
The 2023 GMC Acadia's weaknesses include a smaller third-row seat compared to some rivals, which may not be comfortable for adults. Some reviewers have noted the infotainment system can be slow to respond at times. Fuel economy isn't the best in the segment. Transmission performance could be smoother under certain driving conditions.

How Does the 2023 GMC Acadia Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Alternatives to consider include the Toyota Highlander, known for its reliability and fuel efficiency; the Honda Pilot, offering a spacious interior and strong resale value; and the Kia Telluride, providing excellent value with its features and stylish design. The Ford Explorer offers more powerful engine options, but its reliability has been a concern for some. Whether the Acadia is better than these alternatives depends on individual priorities. If reliability is paramount, the Highlander or Pilot might be preferable. If value is the main concern, the Telluride is a strong contender.

Stay away!Oh so many engine lights! New issues every month! Save yourself the headaches! No power on the highway, backseat is too tight to be used. Fuel economy is low 20s at best. LCD screen will black out on road trips. Oh wow, where do I stop?

Perfect for us!As we age, our reaction time may become slower. This vehicle is loaded with features that make me a safer driver. It connects wirelessly with my iPhone for hands-free Apple CarPlay. Love that! And the Acadia is a dream to drive. It’s the perfect size for me and my family
