The GLA-Class has experienced typical depreciation for a luxury vehicle. Factors affecting resale value include the vehicle's condition, mileage, service history, and any optional features. Final Verdict: Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class a Good Sport Utility Vehicle?
Purchasing a used model is generally recommended due to significant depreciation. A GLA250 in good condition with a documented service history is a solid choice. A pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic is crucial to identify any potential issues before committing to the purchase. Avoid neglected examples or those with extensive repair history.

First and foremost this was truly based off by theFirst and foremost this was truly based off by the attraction of how the GLA stole my heart. The car is gorgeous on its own, but honestly I think I bought a lemon! I bought this vehicle on the 23rd of January by mistake. I started experiencing my car would cut off completely in traffic and would sometimes jerk whenever I pressed the gas pedal. There’s a leakage somewhere in the coolant reservoir. The panoramic sunroof malfunctioned the same day I brought my car home. There's just a boatload of issues regarding this car that I regret. I’m truly not happy with this purchase. I must say, the torque on this one you definitely feel it and it’s quick for a 4-cylinder. Quicker than my 2014 Volkswagen CC I used to own. That’s about it I can say honestly about the GLA. Beware of buying a used GLA!!!! Make sure you check it out by a mechanic before actually going through with the new step of purchasing this vehicle! Don’t buy this car if you’re well over 6ft tall cause I tell you, you will feel cramped. Lastly, make sure you have the money to maintain this high maintenance car.

Great little Benz!I’ve had my GLA for about 6,000 miles and so far it hasn’t had a single problem. I drove it back from Houston to Michigan and got 34 mpg best, since I’ve got it I’ve gotten 28 mpg combined average. Very comfortable, fun to drive and -fast for a 4 cylinder! The only thing I think it lacks is cargo room. Plenty good for 85% of the time but there are times I need to haul a more. Premium gas is expensive but it seems to run just fine on mid grade too in a pinch. I love this car but Im thinking of getting a mini van as a second car for occasional hauling needs.

Know what your gettingI have owned my 2015 for just under two years, this car is a maintenance nightmare. If you don’t know how to work on them, paying for it is going to be a hefty price. My thermostat blew 3 separate times in 6 months for a total of about $5000. The infotainment system and other luxury options are basic so do look to be impressed there. Using the paddle shifters is laggy and jerky at higher RPMs. Do I regret buying the car? No. Obviously if you’re looking at this car it’s not for extreme reliability, it’s a fun car to drive and zoom around in, good on gas, very fast, and enjoyable experience when your behind the wheel.

Unhappy Mercedes OwnerThis car is very expensive to fix. I have a GLA two502,015 and it has cost me over $10,000 in repairs in the past seven years. I just had to replace the battery for the third time in seven years. Just replaced the starter. And now there’s a thumping sound in the rear bottom of my car. I would never recommend it and would never buy a Mercedes again. Honda here I come.

Don't use the A ( auto shut down when stopped) staA few things. I hate the status of car lever on steering column. If your used to it being on the floor, you just will never get use to it. Also the Cruse control is easily hit when using the signal lever.

Reliable carThis car has meant all of my needs. It is very comfortable driving long distance. Also has plenty of trunk space. The car is a very smooth ride.

Worst transmissionI hated this car from the beginning, returned for transmission adjustments at least 3 times. Glad it's gone, besides the styling all else was a dissapointment.

50,000 Miles ReviewAfter driving this car for 50,000 miles, I certainty would not recommend it to anyone. The ride is extremely stiff, handing is terrible, and after driving the car for 1-2 years, engine becomes so loud even if you do all the services on time. Compared to similar cars from brands like Lexus, Audi or even Toyota and Chevrolet, this car feels very heavy and it seems like it takes so much power just to get the car moving. The interior and exterior styling is only positive thing about this car. Performance and comfort is absolutely terrible and overall I would not recommend this car.
