The Sonata is NOT a Toyota or Honda in terms of quality and ONLY sold/sell well because of their 100k warranty, that offers some peace of mind. My 2007 engine died recently with 157,000 miles, but some can keep running well over 200,000 miles (the V6 engines appear to hold up better than the 4 cylinders).

The Sonata was a great car and it lasted a long time. It took us on several vacations and where ever we needed to go. It was a smooth riding car and it had enough room to be comfortable in. It had a pretty big trunk also.I will miss it after having it so long.

I hate my new Hyundai. What a huge mistake! This car get's awful fuel mileage. I'm only averaging 23mpg, mostly highway driving. The gas pedal is extremely over sensitive and incorrectly positioned for comfort, foot is always touching middle console. I'm also unable to rest my foot on the pedal because there is no swivel arm action, it's just a hunk of plastic connected to a computer part that has you peeling out with the slightest touch. Paint is bubbling and peeling off the flat black painted portions of the door Factory Radio works "Sometimes" Cheap, poorly designed Truck lift mechanism does not allow for quick and easy opening of the trunk. The 5sp Automatic Transmission is horrible, upon full acceleration the car has to sit and think about it for a couple of seconds before it actually takes off. The seat doesn't go back very far. I'm 5'8 and have the seat back as far as it goes and it still feels like I'm too close! Dealer told me it can tow up to 2000

For those prioritizing reliability above all else, a Toyota Camry might be a safer bet, but the Sonata can be a good value proposition if carefully chosen.

I love my Hyundai!!!I got my Hyundai sonata about 9 years ago.I ended up having to get a new motor in it my daughter drove it 2 years.I am driving it now my air works perfectly fine heat overall a great car I will upgrading soon to the new 2022..ΓΒ’ΓΒΓΒ€ΓΒ―ΓΒΈΓΒ

4 cyl 2.4L engine is peppy yet economic.The Sonata is NOT a Toyota or Honda in terms of quality and ONLY sold/sell well because of their 100k warranty, that offers some peace of mind. My 2007 engine died recently with 157,000 miles, but some can keep running well over 200,000 miles (the V6 engines appear to hold up better than the 4 cylinders).

Great car. Never had any problems with it.The Sonata was a great car and it lasted a long time. It took us on several vacations and where ever we needed to go. It was a smooth riding car and it had enough room to be comfortable in. It had a pretty big trunk also.I will miss it after having it so long.

very trust worthy car I like it very muchI was very happy with this car and the service and maintenance nothing was overlooked I spared no expense spared for my family road and drove in this car and I need it to be rocksteady and dependable at the drop of a hat which it is a rocksteady dependable vehicle...

Enjoyed the quick acceleration and smooth rideI was impressed with the quiet riding and quick steering of the Sonata. The fuel economy was a big reason I chose the Sonata, but I liked the styling also.

Most Reliable Car I've ownedThis car is very reliable, comfortable, and easy to maintain for any future mechanical issues. Powerful engine and great for long drives and trips. The AC on it is amazing, nice and cool breeze. Love having the multiple CDs in for convenience. The sunroof is awesome. overall a great car.

Hyundai Sonata is the Best Car I've ever Owned!!!My wife and I purchased a brand new Hyundai Sonata back in 2006. We racked up 170,000+ miles on it without any major issues. We absolutely loved the car! Too bad an inattentive driver pulled out in front of my wife one Friday evening and totaled our car. We decided to look for another Hyundai Sonata to replace our 2006. We found a 2007 V6 Sonata in excellent condition and decided to purchase it. We are happy to be driving a Sonata again! They are reliable and dependable cars.

Sonata Limited-Still goingThis car met my needs, and still meets my needs...going to keep it until it drops. changed tires at 60k, brakes, headlight, taillight at 100k Just oil change through the years. Interior is in good shape. It got hail damage 1 1/2 years after I bought it but I decided to keep it and I'm glad I did
