We have a 2006 suburban and a 2013 highlander. this our 4th Toyota and am not impressed. our Highlander gets just 1-2 miles per gallon more than our suburban. The Suburban is a much better ride and comparable gas mileage. I just don't understand why Toyota can't make a highlander with a more efficient drive train. We plan on keeping it for 200,000 miles or 5 years. Hopefully the legendary Toyota reliability will win us over.

Safe, reliable and versatile SUVThis SUV is easy to drive and has great visibility. The 6 cylinder engine provides good pick-up, especially important when merging onto the highway. The leather seats fold down and there is plenty of space for transporting items. Navigational and audio equipment as well as a.c/heating for the back area add to the comfort. The automatic rear lift gate is especially convenient.

Best car everThis 2013 is a dreamy car to drive. Comfortable, has power, comfort,style. I have 2007 Highlander that isnt as fancy but at 190000 miles runs like a top. Very little repair work. Wheel bearing but I hit a big hole so it's no wonder at 150000 miles. Both vehicles are the most reliable vehicles we've ever had and will probably be around after we.die!!!. They are beautifully made and workhorses. Ride is comfortable and the 2013 is blizzard pearl with charcoal interior. Nice features and super comfy. Love love our Highlanders.
