How Does the 2020 Toyota Highlander Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Compared to the Highlander, the Telluride and Palisade provide a more luxurious feel for a similar price. If you prioritize a fun driving experience, the Ford Explorer might be a better choice. However, if reliability and resale value are paramount, the Highlander remains a strong contender. A similar alternative prioritizing reliability and fuel economy would be the Honda Pilot. However, for overall value and features, the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade are worth considering.

Great 3-row hybrid.Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortableOverall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).

2020 Highlander Platinum V6I have a platinum model and I could not be happier. Love the body style and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. Rides smooth as glass, has great pickup(V6) and great mpg!

The Best Choice in the ClassWe purchased a 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited in April of 2021. We absolutely love this car! The convenience features and comfort are the best we have experienced, and the interior design and quality is the best in the class. The upgraded 12.3" screen is worth the extra money, as the text is clear and precise, and the surround view monitor is incredibly useful for parking in tight spaces. We have friends with a comparable Explorer Limited, and the interior quality is far below that of our Highlander, and the ride quality with the 4-cylinder is jerky and noisy. However, even though we have had no mechanical issues, we have had issues with wind noise and a leaking AC unit into the car, both of which were fixed by the dealer for free due to warranty. Other than those minor hiccups, we love our Highlander!

highlander driving experienceI got a used Highlander from IDEAL half an year ago, it fits its description as a family utility vehicle. Especially when starting and driving at low speed, the electric drive is very fast, no sound, has a big difference from the traditional gasoline car. When the speed is over more than 80, it has a big noise, rapid acceleration of the engine vomit roar, mixed common disease, comfort level is general. Driving downtown really saves fuel. Especially the traffic jams, not to mention the highway, which is better for downtown. It would be nice if most pure urban transportation had a need for space. If there is a plug-in hybrid version worth recommending.

A must for a family or individualWe purchased our 2020 Highlander in November of 2020. It is the XLE trim line and traded in our 2015 ML 350 Mercedes. Couldn't be happier with the choice as it is comparable to the Mercedes. Gas milage is in city averaging 25 mpg and highway reach as high as 34.1 mpg. This is all on regular as opposed to premium on the Mercedes. Car rides beautifully on the road although the Bridgestone tires cause some outside road noise. When the tires are worn, will switch over to a softer tire to lessen the road noise, The car is a keeper and truly enjoy all aspects of it. Would recommend to anyone who wants a top notch vehicle.

My new highlanderI own 2003 Toyota 4 runner before after almost 20 years switch to the Highlander. Ride is hard, seats are not that comfortable. I should have got another 4runner. Mpg not that grt.

Horrible Softex Drivers SeatI have the 2020 XLE with Toyota Softex faux leather interior. The most uncomfortable seat I have ever experienced. Initially my complaint was right hip pain from lack of thigh support. I finally raised the front end to angle more beyond what the seat allows after adjustment and that helped. Now it feels like Iβve been sitting in a cheaply padded office chair for hours after only 20 mins. Yes, I test drove the car and I had no complaints and felt little discomfort then. Now itβs truly terrible. I love the car but xxxx those seats are atrocious!

I enjoy driving this vehicle. It meets all my needs and I feel safe in this vehicle. One of our sons recommended this vehicle and two of them own Toyotas. They also enjoy and feel safe in them.
