Design flaw-do not buyThe water pump is enclosed within the engine and leaks onto the timing belt. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW. My 2015 CX-9 dies at 58k miles. Do not buy it!!!!

A great suv am looking at a second oneI looked at alot of suv's! As a mechanic they needed to meet a higher standard. In the price bracket there were only two suv's that I would consider. So I own a Mazda cx-9 Grand touring,it was the best bang for the buck in my opinion for price reliability and comfort. Bought it with .6 miles on it ,it now has 51247 So yes I've had a few issues since new the pass side window motor broke, the blower motor broke and the alt broke 3 times ! So the first two problems I understand and we're cheap to fix the alt was replaced under warranty twice and once by me out of warranty. Living in fl. There's runs of deep puddles and alt is low . I now have a life time warranty on the alt and haven't had a issue since! So I've talked with a few of the mechanic s at the dealership and the main company to start a recall /service bulletin witch would make the dealership install a splash shield by alt so maybe if your reading this the problem has been fix there 2016 models have a splash shield already so if your looking at a newer one your good to go ! I would suggest this suv to everyone . One downfall is the technology in it is older it works great but primitive compared to other suv's of the year I myself preferred this stuff it's easier to us compared to the complected newer ones .

Best car I have ever ownedThis car is great for a family, vacations or for hauling things. Looks super sporty but provides so much room as well. Honestly, best value for the money ever.

Over 100,000 miles, runs like the day I got it!Short and long commutes are a breeze with this car, still doesn’t burn a drop of oil between 5000 mile changes, don’t have the heart to trade it in!

Best car I've owned in many years (& I'm 66)In '15, drove everything in the CX-9 class. Never owned a Mazda, but their reputation was great, so after doing my driving comparisons, found this car a favorite for performance, ride, looks, and dollar value. I never drive a car more than 1-2 years, just because I get bored, but this one I have owned for 5. Love the performance, regular gas, styling, and flexibility of handling comfortably 7 passengers, or utilizing its huge flat cargo area. I even drove '19 CX-9, and liked mine better.

Most comfortable car I've ever owned!I am spoiled after owning this car for just a few months. It is safe, comfortable, goes up my steep driveway like a charm, and I someday hope to pull a small camper. I love this car!

Wasn't on my radar, but now I've had 5 Mazda'sI've owned two CX9's, I just loved it that much! Had the sun-roof and all the bells and whistles. About $10K less than it's competitors but in my opinion worth more than the others. Reliable and stylish!

It is a defective CarMany major parts such as coolant pump, Transfer gear, Pinion seal, main control module, mirrors and FSC have been replaced within 2-3 years. Still the manufacture in Japan and local dealer in UAE is unable to find and solve the defects.

I absolutely love it!This car met all of my needs. It has plenty of room. I love being able to play music and use my phone through the blue tooth. No cords! Very comfy vehicle. Perfect for what I needed!

I've owned the car for only 3 weeks.Well built. Excellent traction and acceleration, driver view, room, leather quality in all seats, nice panel displays, drives like a car, gas mileage not great.
