Best car I have ever droveThis car is vary impressive it has great gas mileage and was surprising on how much get up and go it has... Vary smooth ride and quite. I love how it handles all in all it drives great and I love my little car as do all my friends and family. I def would buy it again no regrets on the money I spent that's for sure.

Hands down the most reliable car I ever ownedIt is a 2002 that I bought used in 2005, 5 spd with ac and all other standard equipment, 12 years later I have over 205,000 miles on it and still use it everyday it just keeps going with little servicing, still looks and runs great...will absolutely look for another hyundai product whenever this one finally gives up...Great Car.

Great first carBought the car 6 months ago, and have loved every bit of it! Had 198,800km when I bought it and now has roughly 215,00km. Strong front wheel drive car that loves to spin the tires. Parts are VERY easy to fix. (Did all the work.) Sure they're found a lot in the scrap yard but mainly for transmission. Keep up on fluid and filter when needed and won't have a problem with it. For the price I paid, ive put in roughly 2,500$ (Canadian.) It was sitting for a year before so the parts were rusted/worn just from sitting. As for my first car, wouldn't ask for anything else! I would go on and on about how great this car is but hands down the cheapest, and most reliable when needed. 🙂

Transmission problems & Door Handles Break EasilyI'm on my third transmission for this car. I have replaced every door handle on the car multiple times because they break very easily. Cabin noise is a major problem. If you take this car onto the interstate, expect to hear a lot of the outside noise. The car has only 105 Horsepower to begin with but after a few years the car becomes down right sluggish. It's hard to overtake on a highway because the car doesn't have a lot of get-up-and-go power. That said, I have found that if you drive slowly and stay off major highways, the noise and speed issues are not a problem. Just don't buy this car if you are looking for a performance vehicle.

Good Temporary CarBought my 02 accent as an alternative to a gas guzzling truck. Started having problems from the day it left the safety shop. Left me stranded twice and nothing lasts long. Pros Good gas (34mpg overall) Pretty peppy considering the small engine REALLY good in the snow (would take this car over a 4x4) small size-(easy parallel park, squeeze into small space) Cons Cheaply made, parts dont last at all base models have no safety features, no ABS even very cramped inside. parts can be very expensive compared to domestic brands Overall, I would recommend an accent for a temp car, or a starter car, but REALLY inspect the car and make sure it wasn't abused, or you will pay for it. I love my little accent but the constant breakdowns make me want to torch it
