The Good
The 2019 C-HR offers a comfortable ride and stands out with its bold, expressive design, appealing to emotional buyers. Practical advantages include Toyota's renowned reliability, good fuel efficiency for the class, and a strong suite of standard safety features, representing a good value proposition for budget-conscious shoppers.
The Bad
The 2019 C-HR's main drawbacks are its limited cargo space and the lack of all-wheel drive. The engine can feel underpowered, especially when fully loaded. Rear visibility is also compromised due to the thick C-pillars and small rear window. Potential buyers should consider these limitations carefully.

How Does the 2019 Toyota C-HR Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Regarding reliability, the C-HR fares well, generally on par with the HR-V and better than some earlier Nissan Kicks models. Feature-wise, the C-HR is competitive, especially with its standard safety equipment, but the lack of Android Auto is a drawback.
The Hyundai Kona, especially with its optional turbocharged engine, offers a superior driving experience and is a compelling alternative. The Honda HR-V is a better choice for those prioritizing practicality and cargo capacity. The Mazda CX-3 provides a more premium feel and engaging handling. Each competitor has its strengths, so the best choice depends on individual priorities.

LOVE MY CH-R!!Just bought this 2019 from a dealership. At first I couldn't believe the mileage...170 miles...until the dealer explained it came out during the height of COVID and sat at dealership for 3yrs. This current dealership bought it at an auction with only 170 miles! Once they advertised, I jumped on it! I've always liked the style and the quality of Toyota cars. I had a sports car prior to thus and I can tell you there is a BIG difference in the cost of gas and mileage. It's sleek, roomy and I LOVED the colorit came in (Electric Blue). It was kind of pricey for a 2019 but it was definately in NEW condition!

Best car out there!Absolutely love this car, it was bought as a surprise and I wasn’t too sure at a first look. Thought it would be a bit too small, but after my first drive I fell in love. It’s amazing. I get compliments left & right anywhere I go! It’s so spacious, & compact at the same time. Performs amazing, with & without sport mode. Also, the cherry on top, everyone gets jealous when I drop the bomb it only takes 44 to fill my whole tank. Gas mileage is heavenly!

Such a fun car!I have only had my CHR for less than a week but I am absolutely loving it. It is so fun to drive and the styling is absolutely phenomenal. Such a cool car. Many complain that it does not have enough power, and I wouldn’t mind if it had a turbo or a more powerful engine; but I have had no difficulties merging onto highways flowing in and out of traffic. It drives incredibly smoothly and again, the styling is beyond reproach.
