I had to replace 4 quickstruts, rear adjustable control rods, spark plugs and valve adjustment at 105,000 miles. The front sway bar had to be repaired. The usual brakes and tires. The valves needed to be adjusted as they were not to specification anymore . I didn't mind spending the money because I plan on keeping this CR-V past 250,000 miles.

Great car. One small problem with a sticking relay that had to be repaired by the dealer. Replaced the hands free microphone myself, easy peasy. I glad I bought this car and would buy it again.

I dont like where the shifting mechanism is. Too close and too high. Too easy to go to turn radio on and hit shifter and put car in another gear.

Many owners report mysterious front-end "Creaking" sound, which dealers, mechanics or collision repair people cannot find or fix. Mine is no different. After spending more thab $5,000 to repair front end, the creak is still there. Honda obviously mis-designed this vehicle, but aptly named it a CR-V, an acronym for "Creak and Rattle Vehicle. The transmission also is lack-luster, omitting manual electronic shifting through four gears, useful on mountain roads (Toyota includes this vital feature). The vehicle is also under-powered and gets worse mileage than it's Toyota competitor which boasts a powerful V6. I know so much about both of these vehicles, because we own both. Do yourself a favor and avoid this mysterious Creaking wagon, which even Honda cannot figure out.

Great... with a few notes.

Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

2013 CR-V driven more than 105,000miles !

Don't buy

Front wheel bearings bad at 64,000 Three alt replacement in 7 yrs Trans software update I had to pay for, even though it was a Honda problem

Happy owner of a Honda CR-V

This car meets my needs and is very comfortable ride. Lots of leg room the seats are comfortable I have back problems and they support me well. I love how the backs seats fold absolutely flat to open up the cargo area for any need that to haul or carry things.
