What Problems Does the 2013 Honda CR-V Have?
Regarding recalls, it's crucial to check the NHTSA website (nhtsa.gov) for any active recalls related to your specific vehicle's VIN. While there haven't been widespread, major recalls affecting a large number of 2013 CR-Vs, recalls can be issued for various reasons, including safety concerns or component defects.
Long-term reliability is generally good, but as with any vehicle, regular maintenance is key. Pay close attention to fluid changes (oil, transmission, coolant) and address any unusual noises or symptoms promptly. Rust can be a concern in regions with heavy road salt use, so regular washing and undercarriage inspections are recommended.
How long will the 2013 Honda CR-V last?
Long-term durability is a strong point, but potential weaknesses include the aforementioned A/C compressor issues and potential for increased oil consumption as the engine ages. Rust can also be a factor in colder climates. Keeping up with maintenance will significantly extend the vehicle's lifespan.

How Does the 2013 Honda CR-V Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Regarding features, the CR-V's technology lags behind some rivals, particularly newer models of the Ford Escape and Mazda CX-5. The RAV4 is comparable in terms of features but may have a slight edge in infotainment usability.

Great... with a few notes. Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

2013 CR-V driven more than 105,000miles !I had to replace 4 quickstruts, rear adjustable control rods, spark plugs and valve adjustment at 105,000 miles. The front sway bar had to be repaired. The usual brakes and tires. The valves needed to be adjusted as they were not to specification anymore . I didn't mind spending the money because I plan on keeping this CR-V past 250,000 miles.

Perfect for my needs.Phenominoligistically excellent. My vehicle is defined by its use and that is practically excellent. One month in and no issues. Fair negotiation with a trade in.

Honda 2013 CRV reviewGreat car. One small problem with a sticking relay that had to be repaired by the dealer. Replaced the hands free microphone myself, easy peasy. I glad I bought this car and would buy it again.
