The Good
The 2018 Sienna boasts renowned Toyota reliability, appealing to practical buyers. Its comfortable ride and spacious interior cater to family needs, providing a smooth and enjoyable experience. The sporty SE trim offers a touch of emotional appeal, while the overall value proposition makes it a smart choice for budget-conscious consumers.
The Bad
While generally reliable, the 2018 Sienna's handling can feel somewhat bulky compared to some rivals. Some owners have reported issues with the infotainment system responsiveness. The fuel economy, while decent, isn't class-leading. Also, inspect the sliding door mechanisms for smooth operation and potential wear.

What Problems Does the 2018 Toyota Sienna Have?
Recalls for the 2018 Sienna have included issues such as fuel delivery pipe separation, which could increase the risk of a fire. It's essential to check the vehicle's VIN for any outstanding recalls before purchasing. Long-term reliability concerns primarily revolve around the longevity of the electronic components, such as the power sliding door motors and the infotainment system. Regular maintenance, particularly fluid changes, is crucial to mitigating potential issues with the transmission and engine. While the 2018 model doesn't have widespread, severe issues, addressing any minor problems promptly can prevent them from escalating into costly repairs.

How Does the 2018 Toyota Sienna Compare to Other Van?
Performance-wise, the Sienna's V6 engine is competitive, but the Odyssey's handling is slightly more responsive. Features are comparable across the board, with each minivan offering a range of amenities depending on the trim level. Pricing is similar, although incentives and discounts can vary.
Alternatives to consider include the Honda Odyssey for a more engaging driving experience and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid for better fuel efficiency. If budget is a primary concern, the Kia Sedona represents a solid value. However, the Sienna's available all-wheel drive and reputation for reliability make it a compelling choice for many families.

Reliable family haulerHave owned the 2018 Toyota Sienna Zoe since 2019 (used) and have put 55k miles on it. Currently at 99k miles and looking to drive for another 50k miles atleast. Great in every aspect including space, safety, comfort, sound insulation, efficiency. Have gone on road trips with three generations of family with no complaints. Not fun to drive but gets the job done - probably the only thing my Honda odyssey was better at, just replaced front brakes for the first time at 99k miles. Eats tires because itβs heavy - expect about 35-40k in primarily hot weather driving. Look forward to many more years of driving

Very reliable and comfortable car.Iβve owned a Sienna for 12 years. It is very reliable and very comfortable. It is also exceptionally roomy. It has all the comfort of a sedan, plus it has the convenience of having so much more room than a sedan.

Great family carHolds everything, dogs, camping gear, etc. AWD and snow tires makes it our safest winter vehicle. It is great to drive with all the luxuries of leather heated seat, lane assist, and comfy seats.

This was a great experience. This was a great experience. My Wife loves her Mother's Day gift. The Family made me drive them around the night I brought it home. Great Salesman Joe Burbach of Andrew Toyota. Highly recommended for service, sale and a good deal. I have a 2008 Toyota Yaris S. I allowed them to work on her and she feels like a champ again. My one regret is they're located in Wisconsin. But the ride was worth it. Ask for Joe, he knows!!!! Cope Family

25000 miles broken partsI have 25000 miles on my 2018 Toyota siena van and the plastic panel just inside the passenger left rear door has already has cracks in it and the dealership along with corporate Toyota do not believe that it's a factory defect that we must have done something to damage it. This is a part that gets stepped on every time you come and go from the vehicle there's no reason why it should have broken just from somebody stepping on it..

Love it!I am a new Toyota driver, we always drove GM and Chrysler, but when we compared the options for mini vans, Toyota was the best choice. My top priority in buying a van was reliability, and the choice was clear. We read hundreds of reviews, test drove all the major competitors and felt the most comfortable in the Sienna. I am loving the blind spot monitors, lane departure assist, and adaptive cruise control. These features make driving so easy. Also have a moon roof, leather interior and navigation for extras, and available AWD, which we did not get. What I don't like is having to remove heavy 2nd row seats to move furniture, lack of remote start feature, the cup holders in 2nd row are hard to reach for toddler, and the overall look of the vehicle. I think Honda and Chrysler mini vans are better looking, but Toyota won in every other category. They had the best ratings, best safety, most cabin space, best mileage, best warranty and price for my budget, most horsepower/ towing capacity and most comfortable ride. I traded my mid size SUV and get better mileage with the van, so that's great! Time will be the true test but so far, this van is great!
