Analysis
What Problems Does the 2019 GMC Yukon Have?
Recalls for the 2019 Yukon have included issues related to the fuel pump, potentially leading to engine stalling, and problems with the brake system. It's essential to check the vehicle's VIN for any outstanding recalls before purchasing. Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the longevity of the AFM system and the potential for transmission issues to develop over time. Regular maintenance, especially oil changes, is crucial to mitigate some of these risks. While not universally problematic, these are areas to pay close attention to when considering a used 2019 Yukon.

How Does the 2019 GMC Yukon Compare to Other Wagon?
Alternatives to consider: the Ford Expedition provides a more spacious third-row seat and a more modern driving experience. The Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban offer similar capabilities at a slightly lower price point. The Nissan Armada provides good value for money but lacks the refinement of the GMC. If third-row space and fuel economy are priorities, the Expedition is a strong contender. For budget-conscious buyers seeking similar utility, the Tahoe or Armada may be preferable. The Yukon strikes a balance between luxury, capability, and price.

Final Verdict: Is the 2019 GMC Yukon a Good Wagon?
Sour Grapes on November 30, 2023
Horrible ReliabilityHave to replace the transmission (6 speed) on a 2019 XL with less than 85,000 miles on it. Combine that with two snapped engine mounts, and I'm eating an $8K repair bill on a vehicle that's 5 years old.

Worth the wait to finally have itWe drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. We will definitely use them again if they ever have what weβre looking for on a future purchase. - Brandon Howell 2019 Yukon Denali

Wonderful Vehicle.I purchased to replace a 2017 Tahoe that I loved. Love this vehicle even more. Magnetic ride control, additional safety features the Tahoe did not have are great. Heated steering wheel a great feature. Heated AND cooled seats, will never be without again. Additional power of the Denali 6.2L vs. the 5.3L engine in the Tahoe is impressive. Bose sound system is outstanding.

Dirty vehicleSaw this vehicle yesterday Saturday and it is as dirty as it can get. It does not look taken care from the inside. Looks it was used by a family of 20.

Great SUVPurchased new 2019 Yukon Denali 4 wheel drive. Vehicle drives well, is very comfortable, quiet, and loaded with safety features. Retractable running boards make accessing the vehicle very easy and provides larger step area then normal side steps.

Great SUV, drives like a sports car.I love all the technology it has and all the space available inside for my four children. 4WD and a great towing capacity along with awesome gas mileage.

Love the YukonI have owned 3 in the past and traded my last one for a brand new Chevy Truck, nice truck but not a Yukon, so I had to get another Yukon. And i bought one as of this last Monday. I pick it up tomorrow!

Second one that I have ownedInterior is comfortable and has more than adequate room for adults although the 3rd row seating is a little cramped. For its size the mileage is decent and the size give you a good view of the road. Can cruse at 60 plus MPH in almost total silence and you don't feel cramped when you arrive at your destination. Interior controls are not overly complicated and the convenience features are great.
