The Good
The 2023 Tundra offers a blend of robust performance and Toyota's renowned reliability. Its modern design and comfortable interior appeal to emotional buyers, while practical benefits include impressive towing capacity and available fuel-efficient hybrid options. The Tundra aims to provide long-term value and peace of mind, making it a compelling choice for various needs.
The Bad
Potential weaknesses of the 2023 Tundra include a ride quality that some find less refined than competitors, especially on rough roads. What Problems Does the 2023 Toyota Tundra Have?
Recalls, if any, should be checked on the NHTSA website using the VIN. Early model year (2022) Tundras experienced some initial quality control issues, so it's crucial to review any applicable recalls or technical service bulletins. Some individuals have voiced concerns over the rear suspension design and ride quality, especially when not towing or hauling. It's always advisable to conduct a thorough inspection and test drive before purchasing to identify any potential problems. Long-term reliability data will become more comprehensive as more vehicles accumulate higher mileage.

Final Verdict: Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra a Good Vehicle?

Don't buy Toyota, warranty is a nightmareI Bought a super crew in Annapolis MD, but encountered microphone issues upon delivery. It spent nearly three weeks in the shop, during which Toyota replaced the radio and microphones with a used unit labeled as "remanufactured." However, Sirius XM functionality remains inaccessible as the radio is still linked to the previous owner in Arizona, who owned a 2022 Tundra. I managed to retrieve the Carfax for that vehicle using the VIN number provided by Sirius. Toyota's current performance is disappointing compared to their past reputation for building reliable vehicles.

Tundra isn't ready yet23 Tundra Platinum is average at best. The ride is horrible. Expect 18 mpg highway. The front windows in mine rattle over bumps or if the music is barely on. You pay a monthly subscription service for autostart - although when I renewed, the service will not work in the truck. This truck is not ready. I would wait 2 years until Toyota fixes all of the bugs.
