The Good
The 2019 Porsche 911 offers thrilling performance and precise handling, appealing to enthusiasts. Its iconic design and brand prestige evoke emotion. Practically, it's surprisingly reliable, offers decent comfort for a sports car, and maintains strong resale value. Fuel efficiency is reasonable for its class. It strikes a balance, making it appealing to both head and heart.
The Bad
The 2019 Porsche 911 can have expensive maintenance and repair costs. Some owners have reported issues with the infotainment system and oil leaks, particularly in earlier 991.2 models. What Problems Does the 2019 Porsche 911 Have?
Recalls for the 2019 model year have been relatively infrequent, but it's essential to check the NHTSA website for any outstanding recalls specific to a VIN. Earlier 991.2 models (2017-2018) had some reports of coolant leaks.
Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the potential for expensive repairs, especially as the car ages. The complex turbocharged engines in the Carrera and Turbo models can be costly to service if problems arise. The GT3's high-revving, naturally aspirated engine requires diligent maintenance, and clutch replacements (for manual versions) can be pricey. Maintaining the PDK transmission according to Porsche's recommended schedule is crucial for longevity. Overall, regular maintenance and adherence to Porsche's service intervals are key to mitigating potential long-term reliability issues. Pre-purchase inspections by a qualified Porsche mechanic are highly recommended.

How Does the 2019 Porsche 911 Compare to Other Coupe?
In terms of reliability, the 911 is generally considered more reliable than the AMG GT but potentially less reliable than the R8. Pricing for these vehicles is similar, though options can significantly impact the final cost.
Alternatives to the 911 depend on individual priorities. For those prioritizing outright performance and a more exotic feel, the Audi R8 is a solid choice. If luxury and comfort are paramount, the Mercedes-AMG GT or BMW M8 may be better suited. However, for a balanced package of performance, handling, and a touch of practicality, the Porsche 911 remains a top contender. A slightly used Acura NSX could be considered for its hybrid powertrain and unique driving experience at a similar price point.

George's GTSJust got a 2019 Carrera 4 GTS. Seems great so far, very fast and handles great. GTS model seems to be the best bang for the buck as far as power and options that are included

A very sweet rideThis review if for my รขโฌห13 911 Cab(a very sweet ride); which I purchased as a two year old certified Porsche; which I just traded for a new รขโฌห22 911S Cab, an even sweeter ride!! The only reason for the 4 for value for the money, these cars are very expensive, but for a young 78 year old guy just a great car if one can afford them.

Porsche is Performance!2019 Porsche Carrera 4S - Porsche is Performance and the 4S is a great performance vehicle. Don't buy a Porsche for gas mileage or value. Buy it for fun! The acceleration, the cornering, the handling are all great reasons to buy a Porsche. The C4S is one of those very fine Porsches in the $150K range. A C4S is only for those special people that can afford it and like to have fun. There is nothing inexpensive about the C4S. The maintenance is expensive, tires are expensive and even a detail is expensive. If you are into saving money and don't want to have fun, buy a Toyota. (I have one of those also.) They are much more economical. If you can afford it and want to have fun, buy a Porsche C4S, you won't be disappointed in anything but the expense!

Awesome performance combined with reliability.Stunning performance in a luxurious package that is unequalled in its peer supercars costing substantially more. Top transmission, suspension, brakes and build quality and engineering.

2019 Targa 4S ...AWESOME!!!The Porsche Targa is an exceptional vehicle. It is more than just stylish...it is a performance machine...Sport+ mode sounds "sweet"...quick...smooth...handles beyond expectations! When the Twin Turbos kick in, the acceleration is smooth but "head snapping."

A Porsche for the puristI've owned many Porsches over the years starting with a 1978 911SC. They just keep getting better but they have lost some of the original soul, in particular the noise from that wonderful motor. While I prefer the sound of my 1989 Carrera, you just can't beat the performance and handling of the new ones.

Great Sports Car!!Smooth, fast, comfortable, powerful...love it! I also own a Ferrari 488 Spyder and this 911 Turbo S cabriolet is competitive with it. Love the car!!

Porsche 911 GTS - What's not to LOVE?I own a 1997 911 and have loved the car for over 20 years. I decided I wanted to get a newer one. This new 911 is beautiful, comfortable, handles like a dream and will put you back against your seat! It was EVERYTHING I was hoping it would be!

Drive it, track it and drive it homeA daily driver that can seat 4in a pinch, and reach 60 in less than 3 seconds. This car is amazing. On the track it will blast past cars trailered to the track with cooled seats and air conditioning on

GT3 TouringThe GT3 Touring is the car that everyone ordering a Porsche should have the privilege of ordering. It is one of the best cars I have ever driven. I realize that not everyone wants a car this demanding, but the car is wonderful because of its engineering and design.
