What Problems Does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Have?
Recalls can vary, and it's crucial to check the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) website for the latest recall information specific to the 2019 E-Class VIN. These recalls often address safety-related concerns.
Long-term reliability can be a concern due to the vehicle's intricate systems. Regular maintenance, following the manufacturer's recommended service schedule, is essential to mitigate potential problems. Keeping the battery in good condition is important, as a weak battery can trigger various electrical issues. Prospective buyers should obtain a thorough pre-purchase inspection from a qualified mechanic specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles to identify any existing or potential problems.
How long will the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class last?
Long-term durability can be affected by the complex electronics and potential issues with the air suspension (if equipped). The interior materials generally hold up well, but leather seats may require regular conditioning. Addressing minor issues promptly can prevent them from escalating into more significant and costly problems over time.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Driver-assistance features are plentiful, with standard features like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and crosswind assist. Optional driver-assistance packages add adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-change assist, and active steering assist. How Does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Compare to Other Coupe?
In terms of features, the E-Class is well-equipped, often matching or exceeding its rivals. Reliability can be a concern, with the BMW 5 Series and Lexus GS historically having slightly better reliability ratings. The Volvo S90 offers a distinctive Scandinavian design and strong safety credentials.
In terms of price, the E-Class is generally in line with its German rivals.
Alternatives to consider include the BMW 5 Series for a more engaging driving experience, the Audi A6 for similar technology and refinement, and the Lexus GS (if looking for a used option) for potentially better reliability. The Genesis G80 offers a compelling value proposition with similar features at a lower price point, but it lacks the prestige of the German brands.

Great driving and solid car.Great driving and solid car. I especially love the handling and ride for cruising the beach. When the twin turbo hits you with that boost she is fun to drive. She gives you balanced power at the helm and take in that confidence that this lovely lady gives. Pop the top and then really take in that beach Sunset. E-450 4matic Cabriolet Excellent Ride from a classy and sassy dame.

I have 2019 450 4matic coupe with the bells and whistles.I have 2019 450 4matic coupe with the bells and whistles. Fantastic luxury sport car. Super smooth, powerful, beautiful, reliable, and good highway gas milage (32mpg) at 80. Originally leased then liked so much I had to buy. Nothing but routine maintenance for 75k miles.

Have 40k and only maintenance has been annual oil changesHave 40k and only maintenance has been annual oil changes and a new set of tires. Ride is super comfortable, interior is total luxury. First Mercedes we have owned, owed BMWs and Porches, and would definitely buy Mercedes again. Get compliments from anyone riding in the car. Only nit is navigation, but we use Apple CarPlay so no big deal

Great car reliable and stylish2018 e300 4matic sedan luxury package w premium package 1.2 & 3 This car is a pleasure, the 4cyl jumps and at 75-80 you feel like you are doing 50 in regular car. Bought w 45,000 have 88,000 on the clock. Only costs were brakes and rotors, and thermostat at 75k. Great acceleration super comfortable ride. Sold a 2014 e350 convertible to get the sedan. Drop top was awesome but kids appreciate more space in sedan. In the snow it is a beast, in the rain it’s a monster, riding on 18’s and switched out the tub flats for fat diaper tires, but the ride is a dream. Looked at 2020 740 Bmw and believe it or not the drivers cabin felt bigger in the eclass?!? Big enough but not unwieldy, it Moves to 100 mph really easy can’t imagine what the e400/e500 is like. The self driving is a gimmick heads up display is ok but not needed, heated seats are a must, and the mb-tex seats are a disappointment on a $75+ car Navigation blows… other than that it’s a 10/10. Changed drive belts as a precaution use liquid moly oil, it makes the direct injection motor idle quieter. Run regular gas not super

Mercedes E-seriesPurchased my second E300 4-matic because I was pleased with my first vehicle. This one has been a disaster. thousands of dollars in repairs, suspension, electrical and engine on a vehicle with only 42,000 miles when this started. Called MBUSA and the lack of customer service is appalling. would never make this mistake again. Luxury check, German engineering check, Quality non existent.
