The Good
The 2022 Chrysler 300 offers a blend of comfort and performance. Its spacious interior and smooth ride appeal to practical buyers, while the bold design and available HEMI V8 engine cater to those seeking emotional satisfaction. While not the most fuel-efficient, it provides decent value for a large sedan.
The Bad
The 2022 Chrysler 300's weaknesses include its relatively dated design and technology compared to newer competitors. Fuel economy, especially with the V8, can be a concern. Some owners report issues with the infotainment system. Parts for older models can sometimes be hard to find. Outward visibility can be limited due to the thick pillars.

How Does the 2022 Chrysler 300 Compare to Other Passenger Sedan?
In terms of features, the 300's Uconnect system is user-friendly, but some rivals have more advanced technology. The 300's pricing is competitive, but used prices might make a comparable Avalon a better value. For those prioritizing reliability and fuel efficiency, the Toyota Avalon is a strong alternative. If performance and aggressive styling are key, the Dodge Charger is a good option. For a balance of features and price, the Nissan Maxima could also be considered. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual priorities and preferences.

Final Verdict: Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 a Good Passenger Sedan?

Chrysler 300 worth your considerationWe do recommend the Chrysler 300S with the 5.7L engine. Although it has spirited performance, the 2023 300C with the 6.4L engine is noticeably faster. Seats are very comfortable and the air conditioning is powerful. We got an honest 25mpg on our recent 1100 mile trip. Although I am a poor judge of infotainment systems, this one appears entirely adequate. The only mechanical problem was the need to replace all the original brake rotors. It took more than two months for the dealer to receive factory replacements. As of this date new ones are still available. You will like this car.
