The Good
The 2023 4Runner offers superior off-road performance appealing to adventure seekers. Its legendary reliability provides peace of mind for practical buyers. The robust design and strong resale value are also major advantages. While not the most fuel-efficient, its dependability and capability are significant draws.
The Bad
The 2023 4Runner's weaknesses include its dated interior, poor fuel economy, and sluggish acceleration. The body-on-frame design, while excellent for off-roading, results in less comfortable on-road handling compared to car-based SUVs. The infotainment system also feels behind the times. Watch out for rust in regions with salted roads.

What Problems Does the 2023 Toyota 4Runner Have?
How long will the 2023 Toyota 4Runner last?
What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Optional features may include a premium JBL audio system, a sunroof, and parking sensors.
Safety features include eight airbags, vehicle stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. Crash-test ratings from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) should be consulted for the most up-to-date information. Historically, the 4Runner's crash test ratings have been adequate but not exceptional, reflecting its older design and body-on-frame construction. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on some trims, enhancing safety, but they are not standard across the entire lineup.

It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at thisIt’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though ðŸ‘

Toyota My firstLove the car My first 4Runner that I have owned sits higher than a normal SUV .I love the lights very bright lights up the road. I have a big dog she goes in the back with plenty of room she loves that the window opens. The two negatives that I have are that my lights are not auto and the lift gate is not powered I had those in my last vehicle so I have to mentally make some adjustments. But still love the carâ¤ï¸

Why We Love Toyota`s and Shottenkirk Toyota!!I absolutely LOVE my 2023 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium . Love the rear glass that rolls down for extra breeze with moonroof open. Only 4 stars on comfort as passenger seat in front has no lumbar support which wife needs. Also own 2015 Tacoma 4x4 crew Cab/ manual and 2018 Land Cruiser. We value Reliability, Dependability, and vehicles that are OVERBUILT for the job. Toyota/Lexus is the only brand that we will ever buy for our needs, and the only place we buy is from The Tracy Job Team at Shottenkirk Toyota in Quincy, Ill. Simply the BEST!!

12 years/ 4 4RunnersThe 2023 will be my 4th 4Runner. 2010, 2014 TRD, 2018 TRD, 2023 Limited. I have had no problems with anyone of them. All been great vehicles. Go where you want to go, and get back. I’ve enjoyed the ride, not a soft ride like some But it is a truck chassis and suspension. Interior accommodation is suitable for the vehicle. Holds up to daily use. Fold the seat down and carry what you want. Low 20’s on the road under 70 mph. High teens @ 85. I’ve had no regrets, never once in 12 years..
