The Good
The 2019 Corvette excels in performance, offering blistering acceleration and impressive handling. Its aggressive design appeals to enthusiasts, while relative reliability (especially compared to some European rivals) and a comfortable interior make it practical. The value proposition is strong, delivering supercar performance at a lower price point.
The Bad
Weaknesses include potential for the 'A8 shudder' in automatic transmissions, some interior materials feeling less premium than competitors, and limited cargo space. Watch for differential whine, particularly in the Z06. Early C7 models had some reported electronic glitches, though most were addressed by 2019.

This car is amazing, great looking (Better than the new one, I think), great performance, very comfortable, even on long trips, gets 29 MPG on the hwy, and is very reliable (The starter went). I get looks, high fives and thumbs up wherever I go. I drive it daily, with a smile on my face, always. Truly a car to be proud of.

very nice car would recommend if you respect thevery nice car would recommend if you respect the power and above all the safety of others on the highway. ride is comfortable but remember this is a performance car you will feel the power of this vehicle with the acceleration and torque, suspension is little rough but the tires are wide which can cause this.

To the guy that thinks this car is a death trap.To the guy that thinks this car is a death trap. You don’t know what you are talking about. I got run over by a semi from behind. Car has a roll bar design. Safest car to get hit from behind by a truck.

Like you really have any control of getting into anLike you really have any control of getting into an accident in this death trap. Get rear ended in any of these C7 Corvettes by a truck and you will get crushed to death in the drivers seat. Larger vehicles will run over top of these lower corvettes. The aluminum frame will crumble like a can. The carbon fiber, plastic, and fiberglass body parts offer zero protection.

At 66 I finally own one. Me + the Lender that isI purchased my Z06 for looks and styling period. The review mentioned “ But there’s no blind spot warning, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, autonomous braking or distance-keeping cruise control availableâ€. oh my God how have we gotten this far. Cars would be affordable leaving half this stuff off.

Best performance car for $$, better design than C8I can summarize that the C7 cannot be touched with what you get for the money. As former owner of a 997.1/911 C4S, my C7 gets a ton of looks and compliments more of course mine is GS coupe in Torch Red. Torque is there in lower rpms and driving a manual 7-speed I only use 1-5 gears because at 5th/3000rpm I'm around 80mph. MPG is pretty good for a performance car in medium/long range drives anywhere above 20-30+. Stop n go it's 16-17 mpg. C8 has striking looks as does C7 but C8 is too angular in my opinion. C7 with it's curves has more appeal for me. The cockpit of C7 is more spacious with so much more room having the usability under the hatchback making it viable for long getaway trips. Maintenance cost much cheaper than other sportscars. I get my oil changed in non-dealer oil change sites for less than $200 oil filter included. Keep in mind GS has much larger oil capacity than non-GS or non-dry sump cars. All in all best sports car for looks, performance, handling and maintenance cost. Best corvette over C8 and older models and last of manual transmission.

2019 Grand Sport 2LT ManualMy third Corvette is a Grand Sport that I purchased used in October 2022 in the Chicago area. Shadow Grey with full stripes and upgraded Napa leather seats. After picking up the car we drove 850 miles home in absolute comfort achieving 26 mpg. We drive on weekends and holidays around Charlotte NC when the weather permits. The handling and acceleration are awesome with the seven speed manual. Added the factory cold air intake for sound and responsiveness. If not it’s not a daily driver I recommend the factory trickle charger. I also have a GM interior car cover. I will keep the car as long as I can continue to lift myself out. My daily driver is a 2010 Mustang GT Convertible with a five speed. Anemic compared to Corvette, but a sweet 3 valve motor. Corvette’s are great cars and as a previous 911 owner i will say they are much more fun to drive and substantially cheaper to own.

Nice Car but Has IssuesI had 2 C7s. One was a 2019 Stingray Z51 3LT and the other was a 2019 Z06 3LZ Convertible. Both cars were beautiful mint condition cars with very low miles (500 new demo and 6200 used). The Z51 handled like it was on rails. The Z convertible was a litle looser and felt larger due to the wide body. Both had the carbon fiber dash but the infotainment system comes off as cheap and the sound system is unimpressive which was a disappointment to me. Paint can be an issue on Silver cars with "blotching" as my Z51 had several large paint mishaps that I noticed after purchase. I traded that car for the Z06 convertible and had that car for a year and a half only driven on nice days. My decision to bail came quickly upon hearing of 2 class action suits for cracked wheels and the dreaded 8 speed auto trans shuttering. Both of my C7s had exhibited odd trans shifting such as "floating", delayed down shifting and bucking . The Z was also losing air in both rear tires. I would recommend not getting an A8 Auto trans in these cars and to also make sure you have money set aside for forged wheels which are very expensive. If you can afford it, I would recommend to skip the outdated problematic C7 model altogether and go right to the updated C8. This is an "honest" review.

WheelsBad wheels! Crack wheels snd GM does nothing about it already had three cracked wheels. Seems GM original wheels are cast and forged GM should show some responsibilities
