What Problems Does the 2015 GMC Yukon Have?
Long-term reliability can be a concern due to these issues. The Magnetic Ride Control suspension, standard on the Denali, can be expensive to repair. Owners should pay attention to the condition of the suspension components, as premature wear can occur. Regular maintenance and addressing issues promptly can help mitigate these problems. Some owners have reported issues with the AC system, especially in hotter climates.
While not specific to the 2015 model year alone, many of these problems persisted in similar GM SUVs from this era, suggesting a broader issue with certain components or designs. Checking for service records and a thorough inspection before purchase is highly recommended.

How Does the 2015 GMC Yukon Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle Vehicle?
Reliability is where the Yukon falls slightly behind. The Toyota Sequoia generally enjoys a better reputation for reliability. The Ford Expedition can also have its share of issues. In terms of price, the Yukon typically falls in line with its GM counterparts but can be more expensive than a comparable Ford Expedition depending on the trim and condition.
Alternatives: The Toyota Sequoia is a strong alternative for buyers prioritizing reliability. The Ford Expedition offers a more modern and powerful engine. The Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban provides a similar experience at a potentially lower price point. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual needs and priorities. If reliability is paramount, the Sequoia is recommended. If maximizing value within the GM family is the goal, the Tahoe is worth consideration.

BEWAREOmg!! Have always took my car to a GMC dealership and have had nothing but PROBLEMS! Transmission went out at 85k, sensors gone and had to pay that.. It’s in the shop right now because now they say my engine is gone.. I really thought Critz was breaking my car but now I see it’s just a horrible vehicle.

Transmission issue.Transmission went out 30k out of warranty. GM dealer quoted $8,000 to replace transmission. Took it to a different mechanic, had it fixed, but it was $5,200!!!! This is the 3rd Yukon I have owned. I love them, however I will not be buying another. I paid to much money to have a transmission that has to be replaced so soon.
