BUY ONE! BEST LITTLE CAR EVER!I bought mine in 2017, V6 FWD with 67,000 miles on it for $1200, was repainted 3 years prior as my guitar player sold it to me, he bought it new and paints cars for a living. Best get around car ever!! I drove miles and miles in this car never had to think, will it make it? NO, this car was the most reliable car I have ever owned, never left me stranded, I will surely miss it, I bought it because I also own a twin turbo V8 BMW X5, you HAVE to have another car if you own a BMW, lol, But IT has been down for the count for 6 months now , JUNK! So, I just traded it in on new car, a 2019 Toyota C-HR, I had the Hyundai for almost 5 years, I WOULD buy another if the price were right just to know that I have another reliable ride if needed. BUY ONE!! Great car people

Very reliable car. Will definitely get anotherMine has 214,00 miles on it ..Still runs great. The air conditioner no longer works tho. Compressor has a crack in it. Had to replace the motor for electric window .. minor things

Have had more problems with this vehicle, too many. Would never suggest anyone to purchase! Brakes are unable to fix! I've repaired this vehicle so many times, still not dependable. Can't trust to drive locally.

Amazing carI have had this vehicle for over a year. Have not had any issues (knock on wood.) Super reliable, I have traveled across the states with this car. Drives smooth. Seats are not the most comfortable, but they allow people of any size to fit. Great in snow, and bad weather conditions. Not meant for off roading. Good first car for teenagers.

Very reliable and fuel efficientThis car has been so reliable and has had very little service work other than regular maintenance that we have bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe. What is amazing is that the car is still going strong after sixteen years.

Most Abused Used Car I've Ever PurchasedI purchased this neglected Santa Fe as a restoration project, as the body was mint, (I live in a salt state) but the mechanical parts were shot. It wasn't intended that way, but that's how it turned out! It was 14 years old with 145K when I bought it, and it suffered failure after failure. (Previous owners did Zero maintenance , apparently.) So after a year of mechanical work, and actually getting to drive it for more than a month, I love that crazy SUV. It allows me -a short driver-to adjust to sit and drive comfortably, yet my 6' 2" husband is not uncomfortable as a passenger. Our teen son has legroom in the back as well AND the rear seat back adjusts which is unusual for this type of vehicle. The car is easy for me to get in and out of, load height is great, and the ground clearance is really good. The seats are still in really good shape, the headliner is intact, and the power windows work like the car rolled out of the factory yesterday. Sure, the paint is peeling now, but no rust yet, and apparently that's a Hyundai thing. Bottom line, I don't blame Hyundai for the issues because any neglected car will have them. Some of what went wrong I've seen on other forums, (most notably the cracked manifold) but mostly it was just neglect. It's an awesome SUV, gas mileage could be better, but we're still working on it!

This car keeps on going!!I LOVE my Santa Fe. It has 205,000 miles on it and is still going strong. I got the car at 185,000 and have driven it ever since. A few fixes had to be done like replacing the alternator and at 200,000 the muffler system had to be replaced but that's common. This car might have a funky exterior design but the use you get out of this car is spectacular

Paint is dissapearing. Parts down to metal.Why is the paint coming off? In carport or garage. Half of hood, most of roof and starting now on other parts of vehicle. Looks terrible for the low miles on it. 44000 miles.
