I've owed Ferrari's, Mclaren's & BMW's but the Porsche Turbo is the most exciting car I've owned due to it's instant acceleration off the line and handles corners as if you're on rails. No fish tailing ever ! So FUN to drive ! Also, mechanically Porsche's are bullet proof ! Never had a problem with high maintenance bills ever.

My other sport cars spent half the time in the shop, but my beloved 911 just keeps on ticking without a hitch. I highly recommend

The cars linkage is in precise, the seats are not comfortable nor are they as supportive as I had hoped, noisy engine, everything is expensive. Fuel economy is fair. Great car for your ego but don't go up against a Vette or you'll have your lunch eaten. A/C system is mediocre. Fit and finish is excellent and dealer service is great. Brakes are outstanding and it handles well but it doesn't let you forget the engine is in the rear. More than once I've spun around and the front was where the rear used to be. Did I mention it costs way too much?

Perfect Understated Class and Performance

After owning ~20 cars, I find the 2009 911 Turbo to be the perfect understated example of class and performance. Great handling, ride quality and just raw power.

Last of the real Porsche 911 with 6 speed manual.

Best Porsche 911 I've owned over the last twenty years. I miss my air cooled Porsches, but this car is so much better. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a great 911.

Best year for a Porsche 911?

I think so. Well...let me qualify that. Best year for a Normally Aspirated Carrera S. I got the PDK with Sport Chrono and I'm loving it! First gen PDK and people complain about it is slow. Ok... it is slower than my 2018 GT3 but it is way faster than the manual and let's not compare it to the Tiptronic (PDK is whole new thing). This version is still small enough to get that feeling of "raw" sportscar. Yes, each newer iteration is more refined, more modern, and more powerful but they tend to numb a little bit of that rawness. I mean I would rather go 50mph and feel like I'm doing 80mph than go 80 but feel like I'm doing 50. The 997.2 S strikes a good balance for that feeling; and you can do it for less $$. Now, my 2018 GT3...that's another thing. So, there you have it!

Best Date Car Ever

So much fun to go out on the town in this car. Try to conceal your excitement of driving this car when you are on a date. The drive home is always better than dessert. It looks great, It sounds great, and it drives great.

Most responsive and best handling car !
