What Problems Does the 2015 BMW M4 Have?
Another common issue reported by owners involves the iDrive infotainment system. Glitches, freezes, and connectivity problems are not uncommon. While these issues are generally not safety-related, they can be frustrating.
There have also been reports of issues with the electronic wastegate actuators on the turbochargers. These actuators can fail, leading to a loss of boost and reduced engine performance.
While the 2015 M4 has not had a large number of official recalls, checking the NHTSA website for any outstanding recalls related to your specific VIN is essential before purchasing. Long-term reliability can be affected by these known issues, as well as the general wear and tear associated with high-performance vehicles. Regular maintenance and addressing potential problems early are crucial to mitigating these risks.

How Does the 2015 BMW M4 Compare to Other Coupe?
In terms of features, the M4 is generally well-equipped, but its infotainment system can feel dated compared to newer rivals. Reliability is a concern for the M4, particularly with the crank hub issue, making the AMG C63 or RS5 potentially more reliable choices, although they have their own potential problems.
In terms of price, the M4 sits in a similar range to its German competitors, but the ATS-V can often be found for less on the used market.
Alternatives:
- Mercedes-AMG C63: For a more powerful and raw driving experience.
- Audi RS5: For a more refined driving experience and all-weather capability.
- Cadillac ATS-V: For comparable performance at a potentially lower price.
If reliability is a primary concern, thoroughly researching the potential issues of each model is crucial before making a decision.

Final Verdict: Is the 2015 BMW M4 a Good Coupe?

PHENOMENALThe F82 M4 will go down in history! The looks are timeless, so much power, and very reliable. One of the best bang for your buck sports cars. However if you are looking for a comfortable daily driver this is not the car for you. It is stiff and you feel every bump in the road. Not a bad thing but if you want more comfort get a 440i. This car does what it is supposed to do perfectly.

Travelin’ in StyleGreat performance car, also comfortable. 6 speed manual convertible with several different programmable drive modes. Meant to be driven, this car is as easy to drive locally as on the open road. Trunk space is negligible with the top down. Black on black— a head turner.

FUN TO DRIVE AND SAFEThis car is going to respond when you accelerate and when you brake or turn, is safe and fast, fun like a video game, but be careful, service is expensive!

Most reliable car I have ownedI purchased a 2015 BMW M4. The room at front and back seat is big enough, that is fit for most of people. Nice drive experience.

The. ULTIMATE. Attainable. Driving. MachineI have never driven a car as fun to drive as this car, yet so adaptable. You can select comfort mode and it drives like a normal car, but if you want a more sporty feel, you can do it with the push of a button. It's a real head-turner as well.
