The Good
The 2009 Honda Ridgeline offers a smooth, comfortable ride and surprising handling thanks to its unibody construction. Practical buyers appreciate Honda's renowned reliability and the versatile in-bed trunk. Emotionally, it delivers a unique blend of truck utility and car-like drivability, appealing to those seeking a different kind of pickup experience. Its safety features also provide peace of mind.
The Bad
The 2009 Honda Ridgeline's weaknesses include its limited towing capacity compared to traditional trucks and its lower fuel economy than some newer pickups. Watch out for potential rust issues, particularly in areas with harsh winters. Also, be mindful of potential VTM-4 system (Variable Torque Management 4-Wheel Drive) maintenance needs, as proper servicing is crucial.

How Does the 2009 Honda Ridgeline Compare to Other Truck?
Alternatives depend on priorities. If towing is paramount, the Tacoma or Colorado are better choices. If a comfortable ride and unique features are desired, the Ridgeline is a good option. For similar comfort and features, a newer Honda Ridgeline (2017+) is a significant upgrade. However, for pure work-truck capability, the older body-on-frame rivals edge out the 2009 Ridgeline. The Nissan Frontier, while less refined, can offer a more affordable entry point into the mid-size truck market.

Just PurchasedThis is my 2nd Ridgeline purchase. My 1st Ridgeline met and exceeded all my expectations. My 1st Ridgeline was passed down to my son, knowing he has a great mode of transportation. I hope that I too have purchased myself another great Ridgeline.

This is the second Ridgeline I've ownedThis is my second Ridgeline. I've been very impressed with the comfort and function of the vehicle. Although I wish it had Bluetooth for music compatibility, the Bluetooth for hands free phone, navigation, back up camera, heated leather seats and side view mirrors are all great upgrades. Compared to other 4 door trucks in its price range (Toyota and Nissan) you get much more for your money. Compared to other trucks like the Nissan Titan and Chevy Avalanche it is much more affordable. Not the best on gas mileage though.

This is one of the nicest used car I?ve ownedGreat truck! I always wanted a Honda Ridgeline and it is every thing I expected and more. It has features you don?t see on other trucks , like two way tail gate and a trunk inside the bed. Great ideas from Honda.

Most versatile truck i have owned. So far it is very comfortable and has plenty of power for a v6, i like the quiet ride and room of the crew cab. The AWD feature is very nice in these MN winters.
