What Problems Does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Have?
Another area of concern can be the electrical system. Some owners have reported glitches with the infotainment system (COMAND), navigation, or other electronic features. Ensuring all software updates are applied is crucial.
While not a widespread issue, oil leaks are also something to watch for, particularly in higher-mileage examples. Check for any signs of oil leaks around the engine.
Recalls, if any, for the 2016 model year should be checked on the NHTSA website (www.nhtsa.gov) using the VIN. Recalls can cover a range of safety-related issues.
Long-term reliability concerns generally revolve around the cost of maintaining a luxury vehicle with complex systems. Components like the turbochargers (especially in the CLS400 and AMG models) and the direct injection system can require maintenance or repairs over time. Regular servicing and preventative maintenance are essential for minimizing potential problems and ensuring long-term reliability.

The engine seems good , the technology is LACKING.I may purchase another MERCEDES in the near future, BUT I would be hesitant to buy this model MERCEDES. The technological features are INADEQUATE. Maybe this one just has some technological problems but not even the Contacts update in a timely manner
