The Good
The 2014 Jeep Patriot's key advantage is its value and affordability. It offers Jeep's signature styling and available 4x4 capability for those seeking adventure. Practically, it's a relatively fuel-efficient and compact SUV for daily use. Emotionally, it provides a sense of ruggedness and freedom associated with the Jeep brand, at a lower price point.
The Bad
Known weaknesses of the 2014 Jeep Patriot include its somewhat underwhelming base engine performance and the availability of a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which can be prone to issues. The interior materials are often criticized for being low-rent. Rust can be an issue in colder climates, so check the undercarriage carefully.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?
Driver-assistance features were minimal; a rearview camera was not commonly available. Safety features typically included standard airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS), and electronic stability control (ESC). Optional safety features included side-curtain airbags.
Crash-test ratings from the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) and NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) varied. It generally received marginal to acceptable scores in some categories, and it's important to review specific ratings for the 2014 model year to understand its crashworthiness. The Patriot lacked many of the advanced safety technologies that are now commonplace, such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.

How Does the 2014 Jeep Patriot Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Similar alternatives, considering price and off-road capability, might include the Jeep Compass (though earlier models had similar reliability concerns) or a used Subaru Impreza or Crosstrek. For budget-conscious buyers who prioritize reliability over off-road prowess, a Mazda CX-5 or Hyundai Tucson from the same year could be better choices. If off-roading isn't a major concern, those alternatives offer a more modern and reliable driving experience for a similar price on the used market.

So i got the only jeep where the hoses go uphill??? for gods sake look past the blond and say something that actually makes sense because no matter what i look like i do have a brain
