I purchaed my 2004 Rx8 with 40K miles on it. It ran good for the first 6 months then there were one problem after another. Thought maybe I bought a lemon but there was always another RX8 at the repair shop when mine was there. I got rid of it when the 60K mile warrenty ran out.

Well what can I say, they don't call them rotary experiments for nothing. You will be lucky if you can get 60,000 miles out of the car. I am also very surprised on how slow they are. Mods will not do anything to this car, you will have to replace the whole engine. This car is the perfect example of all bark and no bite. If you are going for looks this car is okay I guess, but don't plan on racing it.

I bought my 2004 Yellow RX-8 in 2006 and have never truly been satisfied. I have had problem after problem. First less than a year of owning it I stall at a red light. Come to find out there is a recall on the engine. I am by no means a mechanic but things I have noticed are severe shaking when in idle, rapid changes in RPM's while in idle, and slow acceleration/clicking noice while accelerating. I would recommend having your oil changed more frequently than every 3,000 miles with this car. If going for looks, this car is great, everyone comments and gives compliments, as far as reliability, I would not recommend it to anyone...

This is a fun car to drive. It loves to go fast.

This is a great car to drive. Black leather seats all around. Front bucket seats with built in heat for cold days. Has extra storage and plugs to charge up your phone even in the back seats. Has plenty of leg room and is a 4 door. This car is so smart, it'll tell you if your running low of air in the tires. All my friends like to drive it too.

Fun, quick, and pretty

5 Rotary's never a Apex seal problem.

You have to drive rotary motor hard !! If you drive like xxxxx !! RX cars are not for you !! If you flood a rotary , change plugs Start it up!!

This car is awesome to drive!

This is a really fun car to drive. The rotary 6 speed engine winds out with a beautiful sports car sound. It corners like no other I've driven and you feel pasted in your bucket seat when you take a corner at speed! Love this car!

Rotary Sound is Awesome

A true enthusiast car. Not for everyone(consumes oil, bad gas mileage) Most fun car I have ever driven, Very affordable sports car. My only regret was getting rid of it. I want another one.
