The Good
The 2015 Sequoia boasts strong performance and legendary Toyota reliability. It provides comfortable seating for large families and a commanding presence. The design is functional, if somewhat dated. While not the most fuel-efficient, its value lies in its longevity and dependability, appealing to practical buyers. Emotionally, it offers a sense of security and capability.
The Bad
The 2015 Sequoia's weaknesses include its poor fuel economy compared to newer SUVs. The interior design can feel dated, and the third-row seat isn't the easiest to access. Also, watch out for potential rust issues, especially in regions with harsh winters. The infotainment system lacks modern features.

How Does the 2015 Toyota Sequoia Compare to Other Wagon?
In terms of performance, the Sequoia's V8 provides ample power, but its rivals offer similar or better horsepower. Price-wise, the Sequoia can be slightly more expensive on the used market due to its reputation for longevity.
Alternatives to the Sequoia include the newer generation Tahoe/Suburban (if modern features are a priority), the Ford Expedition (if a smoother ride is desired), or a newer Toyota Highlander (if you don't need the full-size SUV capabilities). For those prioritizing reliability and towing capacity above all else, the Sequoia remains a solid choice. If fuel economy is a major concern, other options would be more suitable. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual needs and priorities.

Love my SequoiaPractical and luxurious. Great family car...room for friends, too. Teenage daughter also enjoyed driving it even though itβs a large car, itβs drves easily, not like a truck.

Great SUV, but lacks technologyPros- comfortable, roomy, drive is smooth, feels well built Cons- gas guzzler, lacks standard tech features such as push to start I didn't buy the Sequoia expecting reasonable gas mileage and for the latest tech packages. I needed a large reliable well built vehicle thats going to last me for many years. I made the right choice.

Fits our need perfectly. This car fits our needs perfectly. With 5 grandkids that we keep 1-2 days a week, the 3rd row seat is a requirement. The DVD keeps them occupied while we try to get them to all of their activities after school. Love the car

Best SUV I've ownedI am a previous owner of a Chevy Tahoe, and I thought that the GM made the best trucks and SUVs. Boy was I wrong! Toyota is known for making some of the most reliable cars in the industry, and I must say that their Trucks and SUVs have come a long way. The Sequoia with the Platinum Package is a dream come true. I especially love the numerous storage compartments and the back privacy glass, as I live in Florida, and those options make this the perfect vehicle for visiting the beach in! Amongst other features, I also love the Blind Spot Monitor, Radar Cruise Control, and the premium sound system.
