Last/WORST Datsun/Nissan EVER!!! Researched cars for 6 months before biting on this. Bought at Lithia Nissan in Medford OR. Issues within the first 2 months. I like to drive on highways and not. Road handling good, pinged at low speeds no matter what including Nissan service and gas change (hi octane +/- gas additives, ...). Poor approach angle when off roading for fishing. I got tired of repeated service appts. 2 special transmission replacements later, last at my cost at 43,000 miles. I eventually traded it in, gladly, at 55,000 miles. First time ever as I normally drive them well over 100,000 before retirement. The final straws were: 1 Nissan didn't see new transmission replacement (second) falling under state lemon law; 2 service manager at local dealership in Bend OR knew me by name and cell phone number. Life much better, more reliable now status post no Nissan.

We seem to be having trouble with our transmission for the 2nd time. Car dies with no warning, or "lurches" when being driven. Not sure if it is a fuel injection problem or transmission problem, and our trusted garage can't service it because of the CVT transmission - can't even hook it up to any diagnostic machines. They told us at about 100K miles, the car has all sorts of problems and that has proved true. We are ready to get rid of it. Also the radio, which was preconfigured for satellite radio, can't get our local NPR station (just static!). Dealer found "no problem" with the radio. Already had several thousand $ of repairs, ready to turn it in for a Toyota!

Great overall vehicle, love to driveMy Murano has 184,000 miles. Mostly expressway on long trips. It's been very reliable. The only thing is that a few months ago my transmission was slipping and my RPMs were getting high (3k+). I was told my transmission was going bad. After some research I decided to replace the CVT transmission oil (with synthetic) Since then it got a lot better. Drove to Texas from Chicago twice no problems.

Most reliable car i've ownedi got my used 2003 Nissan Murano fully loaded for under 7K. Plenty of room to carry family and/or cart other personal belongings/equipment. ] In Sport mode, the acceleration is good. I really like the looks of this car. Getting a minivan b/c we need more room for new family member.

Long LastingThis car has been around for 14 years and is still reliable and a relatively fuel efficient suv. The one I own had over 200,000 and still drives really well. The paint hasn?t held up but other than that I have no complaints. The interior is really nice, all the inside electrical components operate well.
