The Good
The 2019 Murano offers a comfortable and refined driving experience with a smooth V6 engine. It boasts a stylish and modern design appealing to emotional buyers. Practically, it delivers decent fuel efficiency for its class and a reputation for reasonable reliability, making it a good value proposition for families seeking a comfortable and dependable crossover.
The Bad
Potential buyers should watch out for CVT transmission issues, which have been reported in Nissan vehicles. The Murano's handling isn't as sporty as some competitors, and the infotainment system can feel dated compared to newer rivals. Cargo space is adequate but not class-leading, and some may find the styling polarizing.

Final Verdict: Is the 2019 Nissan Murano a Good Sport Utility Vehicle?

Great except the CVT noiseLove everything about my 2019 Platinum except the way the engine makes a bog-down rumbling noise when the tachometer hovers at the 1K mark. My 2012 Maxima CVT did not do this. It's quite noticeable anytime I have to slow down or just do around town driving and the tach hits 1K. Horrible experience that many others discuss online in the owners' forums. Otherwise, I love the cargo room, the Bose stereo, the padded seats and the convenience and safety features.

Had to have that replaced. All was under warranty.

Love it...bought another one! This car is comfortable with leather seats and has all the technology I desired, along with the sound for all my music with the Bose speakers. The extra device plugs front and back meet all of our traveling needs. This is my second Murano and it does not disappoint.

Back in a MuranoI had a 04 Murano and loved it. Unfortunately someone ran a stop sign and t-boned it. Bought a 12 Honda Crosstour, good car. One of the local Nissan dealers sucked me in with a scam offer. Walked away from them. Was actually going to drive my Crosstour a couple of more years. Decided to give a different dealer a chance. Got a good deal on a new 19 Platinum. I'm thrilled to be back in a Murano
