What Problems Does the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse Have?
Recalls are always a possibility for any vehicle. It's recommended to check the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website for any recalls specific to the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the complexity of modern vehicles, and the Traverse is no exception. Potential issues could arise with the electronic systems or the nine-speed transmission over time. Regular maintenance and addressing any issues promptly can help mitigate potential problems and extend the vehicle's lifespan. Owners should keep an eye on engine oil consumption, as some V6 engines can be prone to this, especially at higher mileage.

How Does the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse Compare to Other Minivan?
In terms of features, the Traverse is well-equipped, but the Telluride and some Explorer trims offer more advanced technology. The Highlander and Pilot are known for their reliability, while the Traverse has average reliability ratings. Price-wise, the Traverse is generally competitive, but the Telluride often offers more value for the money.
Alternatives to consider include the Toyota Highlander for its reliability and fuel efficiency, the Honda Pilot for its well-roundedness, and the Kia Telluride for its value and features. Final Verdict: Is the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse a Good Minivan?
67 year old Father of 2, Grandfather of 6. Its great for hauling family around. on January 3, 2024
Great vehicle for larger families! It's an excellent vehicle for larger families. I have six large adults that I haul around. Each and everyone has plenty of room to be comfortable. It seems to have more room than my Tahoe I traded in. It has good acceleration and handles well. I love the air-cooled and heated seats. It has a nice, solid ride. I am very happy with my Traverse. I traded in my 2021 GMC Acadia Denali, which I was very unhappy with.
2022 Traverse grinding front brakes going on for a year on November 17, 2022
2022 Traverse grinding front brakes2022 Traverse had 500 miles on odometer going on a trip brakes started making noise front brakes right and left side Noise was like a grinding metal to metal. Took it in to a dealership couldn't find anything wrong . Back from trip brakes still grinding back to dealership. After 6 trips to dealerships still grinding and no answers. Can't fix brakes . The only answer we were given was pads and rotors not compatible but can't find a fix. Still grinding noise . Does anyone have this problem? I recorded the noise because it seemed that since they couldn't find a problem with brakes that we were making up the brake noise .

Not What It's said to beBought a new Traverse LT2 in July, 2022. As soon as I sat in the driver's seat and looked in the rear view mirror, I knew I made a mistake. The mirror is just a chinzy, dinky little mirror. It doesn't even show the entire rear window. There are 2 third seat head rests in the view, A shoulder restraint daggling from the headliner, and the rear wiper housing covers the lower part of the rear window.I have noticed cars behind me that I thought were tailgating because I couldn't see the headlights, but in fact were 4 car lengths back! All the controls are inconveniently located, and hard to read. The icons are minuscule, some change location depending on what mode your infotainment system is in The side mirrors are undersized for the size of the Traverse. The second and third row seats cannot be flatted unless the front row is all the way forwards. Okay, I'm out of breath!

Great car needs more “bells and whistles “For the price and the advancement of cars you would think the LT would have more “bells and whistlesâ€. I had to pay separately to have the remote start added. Also no roof racks, tow hitch, side mirror defrosters, ect. The lt model is pretty much just the basic. If your looking for that I would look at the next up level LX I think. Over all no issues yet and my wife loves the car.
