The Good
The 2017 Panamera boasts exceptional performance, a comfortable ride (especially with adaptive suspension), and a stunning design. For the emotional buyer, it offers Porsche prestige and exhilarating driving. Practical buyers appreciate its spacious interior, available all-wheel drive, and surprisingly decent fuel efficiency for its class. Predicted reliability scores are above average for the segment.
The Bad
Potential weaknesses include the high cost of maintenance and repairs, particularly for complex systems. Some owners have reported issues with electronics and the infotainment system. The rear visibility can be limited. Option packages can significantly increase the price, so be mindful of the final cost when purchasing.

What Problems Does the 2017 Porsche Panamera Have?
Recalls for the 2017 Panamera have included issues with the seat belt retractors and potential fuel leaks. It's essential to check the vehicle's VIN with the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) to ensure all applicable recalls have been addressed.
Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the complexity of the vehicle's systems. As the car ages, the likelihood of expensive repairs increases, especially regarding the air suspension, hybrid components (if applicable), and the electronic systems. Regular maintenance and adherence to Porsche's recommended service schedule are crucial to mitigating potential problems. Independent Porsche specialists are often more cost-effective than dealerships for routine maintenance and repairs after the warranty expires.

Loaded 2017 Panamera Turbo: 550 hp & 567 lb/ft torThe 2017 Panamera Turbo is phenomenal: It is the perfect blend of sports car (0-60 in 3.0 seconds… Entering traffic or accelerating to pass is exhilarating at 550 hp/567 lb/ft torque) & luxury vehicle (4 door, plenty of room for back seat passengers, plus plenty of storage room with hatch back & rear seats can fold down for more space. Beautiful interior, appointments & super sound system). This vehicle is very impressive, drives/corners like a dream (these tires just Grip the road on turns) and people commented on it regularly. This is a beast of a sports car that also happens to carry four people comfortably!

So far, so goodAfter one week I can say this is by far my favorite car purchase. I'm using it as my daily driver. I am coming out of a SUV and thought the switch would be difficult but this car has so much room and tons of cargo space. It drives like a dream and so far seems to be a great purchase.

Excellent executionI have been driving the car for about two weeks now. Remain enamored with the beauty and truly marvel at the technology. I?m fairly technologically savvy but continue to learn something new about the car every day. The car is a joy the drive around town or down the expressway. Very comfortable for myself at 6?2 and my 6?1? son in the rear seat . The amenities make any drive a joy and the driving experience matches that which you would expect of a Porsche. Very pleased with the investment.

BEST CAR EVER OWNEDIt handles very precise. Very smooth -very nimble. Blindingly quick. The top end is up there somewhere that wise men would never go but moving onto the motorway it's acceleration and perfect handling is awesome for getting around a blockade of lane hogging pachyderms.
