The available V6 engine provides adequate performance, while the spacious interior and large trunk cater to practical needs. Good value for its size and features makes it an attractive choice for budget-conscious buyers. The exterior design also offers a modern and sleek look.
The Bad
Some owners have reported issues with the infotainment system, including glitches and slow response times. The four-cylinder engine can feel underpowered, especially when fully loaded. How Does the 2016 Chevrolet Impala Compare to Other Sedan?
Alternatives to consider include the Toyota Avalon for superior reliability and the Chrysler 300 for bolder styling and available all-wheel drive. The Buick LaCrosse, also from GM, offers a more luxurious take on the full-size sedan. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual priorities, such as reliability, features, or styling. If reliability is a top priority, the Avalon is a stronger choice.

I am biased, I am 73 years old always owned ChevysThis 2016 is the best one yet! From a 1956 BelAire to a 2004 Impala, with Chevelles & Luminas in between! Not a bad one in the bunch!

Computer system is trashMy check engine light keeps coming on and the stablitrack light with reduced power, this is dangerous & not ok. GM needs to recall this issue with the 2016 models as well.

So far so good. Really like the vehicleThis car met all my needs. Plenty of leg room front seat and rear seat. Large trunk space. Handles the road well. I'm satisfied with the vehicle so far 0

Not the car I should have purchasedThe car has good performance until it hit 61,000 miles and all hell broke loose. I had to replace the transmission. Then at 71,000 miles the evaporators coil has a leak and the dealer wants to charge me $2460 to replace. So with the replacement transmission at 6500 and the evaporator coil the additional service cost is almost $9,000. This is ridiculous for a vehicle that only have been serviced by the dealer. I have owned 4 impalas since I started driving and left to drive Toyotaβs and own a 2006 Jeep and all of these vehicles had over 200,000 miles with no major problems like this. I came back to Chevy and wish I have never did!!!!!!

Reliable car with great styleThis car has lots of interior space, and a huge trunk. The design of the car looks great. For the size of the car it gets great mileage.
