What Problems Does the 2007 Hyundai Tucson Have?
Recalls for the 2007 Tucson were issued for potential issues with the stop lamp switch, which could affect brake light illumination and cruise control function. Long-term reliability can be impacted by regular maintenance. Neglecting fluid changes or addressing minor issues promptly can lead to more significant problems down the road. How Does the 2007 Hyundai Tucson Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Compared to the Ford Escape, the Tucson offers a more refined interior and better fuel economy. However, the Escape provides a more robust engine option. In terms of price, the Tucson was typically more affordable than the RAV4, CR-V, and Escape when new.
If looking for a similar alternative with potentially better reliability, a slightly older Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V might be worth considering, though expect to pay a premium. The Mazda Tribute (related to the Ford Escape) is another option with comparable features and price.

Safe, reliable, easy and fun to driveI got this car at 16. We commuted to school together, drove to dozens of jobs, carried my friends and I on road trips and concerts. We explored 2 countries and 16 US states. It was always very reliable and maintenance was cheap and easy. We finally parted ways at 315xxx miles and I'm now 29 years old! Thanks for supporting me for half of my lifetime thus far lil Hyundai.

So Far So GoodI've never owed a Hyundai but so far it has been a great car. For a 12 year old car, it still has a lot of "get up and go" and it is roomy enough for transporting 4 teenagers to and from school. It also does great on the highway.
