Final Verdict: Is the 2013 Volvo XC60 a Good Sport Utility Vehicle?

Pretty good value for the money! This is my second Volvo. I first had a 2004 S60, which I traded in for this 2013 XC60. The SUV has a great ride and I love the ability to switch to a stick shift, which makes the car feel sporty. Overall, the car is trouble free. LIke me other Volvo, the transmission sometimes is hard to move. I actually had to replace the tranmission in the S60. This vehicle has traveled cross country, where it gets great gas mileage, with using regular gas, not high test. The city gas mileage, I live in Chicago, is not very good! The required maintenance from the Volvo dealer can be expensive, but repairs at the dealer I feel are overpriced! I got the extended warranty, which I feel was a waste of money. Overall, I really like the Volvo brand! They are fairly maintenance free and last a long time. My previous Volvo had about 110,000 miles and this one has about 63,000 miles.

This is my third Volvo that I drive,LOVE VOLVOThis is my third Volvo that I drive (XC90, XC60 S60) , it hardly gives any problems, safe and fair in price.Keep maintenance on time and that's it.

Hard to sayI bought the XC60 for safety and after someone ran a red light and totaled the car Iβm glad I did. The car looks great but I frequently found my self saying what now. These cars are known for windshield leaks and hard downshifts and need regular computer module updates. My wife loved the car. The safety factor was worth any problems we had. Check Internet forums for any used car purchase.

This is a great vehicle and we plan on keeping itOnly negative we can even think of is that gas mileage isn't great; however, I have a very soft driving style and am easy on the gas pedal; so, 21 mpg average is attainable overall.

The ride feels smooth like silk.I am enjoying the way the car drives. The infotainment system is awkward, however, the blue tooth device and key -less are convenient. I just purchased the car, and I am hopeful that I will have little repairs and maintenance.
